FirmwareUpgrade

TheAXISQ7920hasanautomatedbuilt-infunctionforrmwareupgrade.Ifabladethatisinserted
inslot1intheAXISQ7920containsanewerrmwarethanthecurrentoneinAXISQ7920.The
AXISQ7920willautomaticallybeupgradedtothenewrmwareversion.Theupgrademaytakeup
tooneminutetoaccomplish.

NetworkRedundancy

ThenetworkredundancyinAXISQ7920iscontrolledbysoftwareandrequiresthatatleasttwo
networkconnectors(eitherRJ45orSFP)areconnected.TherearefouruplinkgroupsinAXISQ7920,
eachwithaSFPandaRJ45connector.TheSFPconnectorhaspriorityovertheRJ45connector.
IncaseofamalfunctioninaconnectiontheAXISQ7920willcheckforaconnectioninthe
sameuplinkgrouporifneededcheckforaconnectioninanotheruplinkgroupuntilanetwork
connectioncanbeestablished.

Hot-swap

TheAXISQ7920supportshot-swapofblades,fantrayandPSU.Theycanberemovedand/or
insertedwithoutaffectingoperationoftheAXISQ7920.

RackMonitoringDaemon

Inordertousetherackmonitoringdaemonfunction,thebladeinsertedinslot1mustbean
AXISQ7436,AXISQ7404,AXISQ7414,AXISP7224ornewer.
