WiththePTZControlQueueenabledthetimeeachuserisincontrolofthePTZsettingsislimited.Clickthebuttonstorequestor
releasecontrolofthePTZcontrols.ThePTZControlQueueissetupunderPTZ>ControlQueue.
ClicktheEmulatejoystickmodebuttonandclickintheimagetomovethecameraviewinthedirectionofthe
mousepointer.
ClicktheCentermodebuttonandclickintheimagetocenterthecameraviewonthatposition.Thecentermode

TheGOVlengthisthenumberofframesbetweentwoconsecutiveI-frames.IncreasingtheGOVlengthmaysaveconsiderablyon
bandwidthrequirementsinsomecases,butmayalsohaveanadverseaffectonimagequality.
ThebitratecanbesetasVariableBitRate(VBR)orConstantBitRate(CBR).VBRadjuststhebitrateaccordingtotheimage
complexity,usingupmorebandwidthforincreasedactivityintheimage,andlessforlowerimageactivity.CBRallowsyoutoseta
xedTargetbitratethatconsumesapredictableamountofbandwidth.Asthebitratewouldusuallyneedtoincreaseforincreased

ControlQueue
TheadministratorcansetupaqueueforPTZcontrollersfromPTZ>ControlQueue.Oncesetup,thePTZControlQueuebuttons
appearintheLiveViewpageofferingoneviewerexclusivecontrolforalimitedperiodoftime.Otheruserswillbeplacedinqueue.
Auserwhobelongstoagroup(seeUsers,onpage39)withahigherPTZprioritycangobeforeotherusersinthequeueand

UpgradingtheFirmware
