NT20 CONDENSATE NEUTRALIZATION TANK

INSTALLATION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Installation Instructions

NOTE - Check with your local water authority for regulations regarding discharge of treated
condensate to the drain or sewer system.

Set the neutralization tank on a secure and level base or mount in the optional tank shelf. Connect
appliance condensate drain to one of the two tank inlets using corrosion resistant piping. The top inlet
on the tank is designed for appliances where the condensate drain is elevated such as wall hung boilers
and hi-boy furnaces. The side inlet is designed for appliances with a lower condensate drain outlet.
Ensure that no air pockets will remain or form in the piping and that the condensate will flow freely
from the condensate drain into the tank and then to the drain.

WARNING - “Risk of damage to appliance”. Tank inlet and discharge must be at a lower elevation
than the condensate drain from appliance.

NOTE - Access to the discharge before the drain is necessary for proper maintenance in orde r to
check the effectiveness of the neutralizing agent.

Operation and Maintenance Instructions

Monitor the level of the neutralization agent in the tank periodically. Check the pH level at the
discharge point before the drain annually. When the pH level drops below 6.0 the neutralizing agent
should be replaced. The agent can be purchased from Axiom Industries Ltd or from a local supplier.

Limited Warranty

The NT20 is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year.
