Every member of our Axiom team, myself included, is pleased
that you have decided on one of our products. We have all
worked hard to bring the highest level of satisfaction to
your audio experiences, and will continue to work hard to
make every Axiom purchase a wise audio investment for you.
Axiom is deeply committed to ongoing audio research that
continues to enhance the performance of our products.
We design and engineer all of our loudspeakers based
on the world-class psycho-acoustical research that
was conducted at the National Research Council and
that I have been an integral part of since its early years.
This research changed the way that sound is measured,
and allows Axiom to provide the world’s most realisticsounding loudspeakers at amazing value to the consumer.
By emphasizing the practical side of our ongoing research,
Axiom continues to extend people’s expectations of

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.

7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampliers)
that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one
wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third
prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for
replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
12.
Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket,
or table specied by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.
When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus
combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any
way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus,
the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
15. Do not expose this apparatus to dripping or splashing and ensure that no objects lled with liquids, such as vases, are
placed on the apparatus.
16. To completely disconnect this apparatus from the AC Mains, disconnect the power supply cord plug from the
AC receptacle.
17. The mains plug of the power supply cord shall remain readily operable.
18. Do not expose batteries to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.
The lightning flash with arrowhead
symbol within an equilateral triangle,
is intended to alert the user to the
presence of uninsulated “dangerous
voltage“ within the product’s enclosure
that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk
of electric shock to persons.

WARNING : To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock,
do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
• Ensure that you connect your Amplifier only to the type of power
supply indicated on the rear panel, and ensure that the power
cord cannot be walked on or otherwise damaged.
• To prevent electric shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot, fully
insert.
• Ensure that objects or liquids are not allowed to penetrate the enclosure.

Warning: DISCONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY! Ensure the power cord
is unplugged and the power switch is in the off position before proceeding.
Do not at any time attempt to connect or disconnect any wires while the
amplier is powered on or permanent damage may occur .
Step 2
Look at the rear panel of your amplier. You will notice a voltage rating
beside the power switch. Be sure this rating corresponds to the voltage
supplied in your country. If there is a difference please do not proceed
any further and contact AXIOM for assistance. Failure to use the proper
power supply will result in immediate and permanent damage.
Step 3
Connect an RCA cable from your pre-amp to the RCA input labeled CH1
on the ADA1000 amplier.
ÉTAPE 1
Avertissement : DÉBRANCHEZ L’ALIMENTATION ÉLECTRIQUE! Avant
de commencer, assurez-vous que le cordon d’alimentation électrique
soit débranché et que le commutateur soit en position hors tension. En
aucun moment, lorsque l’amplicateur est en marche, il ne faut tenter de
brancher ou de débrancher quelque l que ce soit sinon des dommages
permanents pourraient en résulter.
ÉTAPE 2
Regardez le panneau arrière du boîtier de votre amplificateur.
Vous remarquerez une indication de voltage à côté du
commutateur de mise sous tension. Assurez-vous que
l’indication corresponde au voltage distribué dans votre
pays. Si celle-ci diffère, s’il-vous-plaît, n’allez pas plus loin et
contactez Axiom pour une assistance. Le fait de ne pas utiliser
le voltage approprié engendrera des dommages immédiats et
permanents.
ÉTAPE 3
À l’aide d’un câble à fiches RCA, reliez la sortie de votre
préamplificateur à l’entrée étiquetée CH1 sur l’amplificateur
ADA1000.`
Step 4
Connect a speaker cable to the 5-way binding post output labeled 1
ensuring the positive(+) wire is connected to the red post(+) and the
negative(-) wire is connected to the black(-) post.

Step 5
Connect the other end of your speaker cable to your speaker, ensuring
that the positive(+) wire is connected to the positive(+) speaker terminal
and the negative(-) wire is connected to the negative(-) speaker terminal.
Step 6
Repeat steps 3-5 for each amplier channel you wish to use.
Step 7
The trigger input is an optional hook-up. If your A/V receiver or A/V preampprocessor has a 12-volt trigger output, you can run a 3.5mm connector
cable to the trigger input and your ADA1000 will power on and off with your
A/V receiver or A/V preamp-processor.
Step 8
Connect the power cord to the ADA1000 and plug it into your power
supply. Turn on the main power switch on the rear panel. Push the power
button located on the front of your ADA1000. The front light should glow
blue and the ADA1000 is now ready for use.

Répétez les étapes de 3 à 5 pour chacun des canaux de
l’amplificateur que vous souhaitez utiliser.
ÉTAPE 7
L’entrée de mise sous tension « trigger » est un branchement
optionnel. SI votre récepteur A/V ou préamplificateurprocesseur A/V possède une sortie 12 volts de mise sous
tension, à l’aide d’un fil ayant des fiches de 3,5mm, vous
pouvez la relier à l’entrée mise sous tension « trigger » de
votre ADA 1000. La mise en fonction ou hors fonction de
votre amplificateur sera gouvernée par votre récepteur A/V ou
préamplificateur-processeur A/V.
ÉTAPE 8
Raccordez le cordon d’alimentation à votre ADA 1000 et branchez-le à
la prise d’alimentation électrique. Mettez le commutateur, situé au dos
de l’appareil, en position de marche. Pressez le bouton de mise sous
tension situé à l’avant de votre ADA 1000. Le témoin lumineux devrait
scintiller en bleu et le ADA 1000 est prêt à l’utilisation.

Bulk Speaker Cable
Rugged rubberized bulk speaker wire is remarkably flexible, for
even the trickiest custom installations. This 12-gauge oxygenfree cable is one of the most highly-stranded we have ever
seen! 99.9999 percent oxygen free. Ultra-low .00341 ohms of
resistance per foot for maximum transfer of amplifier power.
Bulk speaker wire has unterminated ends and is available in
any lengths.
