• Do not exceed the scales maximum capacity. Overloading your scale can permanently damage it!
• Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold. Scales perform best at normal room temperature. If temperatures have changed dramatically, recalibration may be necessary.
• Allow your scale to warm up for 30-60 seconds before performing calibration (if available).
• Store your scale in a clean, dry location. Dust, dirt, and moisture can accumulate on the weighing sensors and electronics causing innacuracy or malfunction.
• Avoid using your scale in close proximity to strong radio wave emitting devices such as computers, cash registers, and cordless phones.
• Always weigh on a at and level surface, free from vibrations and drafts. The corner of a room is usually the most stable.
• Gently apply all items to be weighed. Do not drop items onto the weighing platform.
• Avoid dropping your scale. The warranty does not cover damage due to rough treatment or overload.
I. SCALE OPERATION
Place the scale on a horizontal at surface and set the scale platform on the weighing surface.
1. Press [ ON/OFF ] key.
2. Wait until “0.0g” or “0.00g” is displayed.
3. Place the object(s) on the weighing tray.
4. By pressing the [ MODE ] key, you can switch the weighing unit displayed on the bottom right.
5. The cover / expansion tray can be used by following the TARE WEIGHING instructions below.
II. TARE WEIGHING
1. Turn on the scale as described above.
2. Place the cover / expansion tray on the scale platform.
3. Press the [ TARE ] button. “0.0g” or ”0.00g” will be displayed.
4. You can now add items to the tray to obtain just the weight of the contents.
5. When all items are removed, a negative number will be displayed. Press [ TARE ] again to zero the scale.
III. COUNTING MODE
1. Press the [ ON/OFF ] key to turn the scale on.
2. Place a sample quantity of the items being weighed on the platform. This quantity should either be 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces.
3. Once the weight is stable, press and hold the [ PCS ] key to enter counting mode setup.
3. The current sample size will be displayed on the bottom right of the LCD.
4. Press the MODE key to change it between 25, 50, 75, or 100 and press PCS to conrm. The count will be displayed on the bottom right of the LCD. You may now add more items are remove items and the count will update automatically.
IV. CALIBRATION
1. Press the [ ON/OFF ] key to turn the scale on.
2. Wait for the display to show “0.0g” or “0.00g” then press and hold the [ MODE ] key for 3 seconds until the display shows “CAL” then release.
3. Press the [ MODE ] key again, and the LCD will ash the rst required calibration weight. Place the required weight on the middle of the platform.
4. The LCD will ash then ash the second required calibration weight. Place the required weight on the middle of the platform.
5. The LCD will display “PASS” and return to normal weighing mode. Calibration is complete. You may now remove the weight and turn o the scale.
IV. TROUBLESHOOTING
The primary reasons for inaccuracy or malfunction are low batteries, incorrect calibration, overload or operating on an unstable surface. Please keep this in mind and maintain and operate your scale properly. This scale is a precise instrument and must be handled with the utmost care and caution. [Display] Elimination of errors [Lo] Change the batteries. [OUT2] Recalibrate the scale as shown above. [O_Ld] You are overloading the scale. Remove the excessive load immediately!
