Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this AV:Link SA-2 stereo amplifier. This product is intended to give
long term, reliable service in normal usage. Please read these instructions before use to avoid
incorrect operation and to help outline the functions and controls.
Front Panel
1. MASTER VOLUME – Rotate clockwise to increase output level
2. LEFT CHANNEL LEDs – Lateral blue LED ladder indicates left channel output
3. 3.5 JACK – 3.5mm stereo jack input for portable mp3 player or other line level source.
4. POWER SWITCH & LED - Switches mains power on/off with indicator LED
5. RIGHT CHANNEL LEDs – Lateral blue LED ladder indicates right channel output
6. INPUT SELECT – Rotary switch to select between LN1, LN2, LN3 and front MP3 input
Rear Panel
1. LIN1 – Left & right Line 1 RCA input
2. LIN2 – Left & right Line 2 RCA input
3. LIN3 – Left & right Line 3 RCA input
4. SPEAKER R – Right channel speaker output binding posts
5. SPEAKER L – Left channel speaker output binding posts
6. INPUT AC – IEC mains inlet with fuse holder (230Vac 50Hz)
Connection

Operation
Check mains for correct voltage as indicated near to the IEC mains inlet on the rear panel.
Connect to mains supply using the IEC cable provided.
Connect the outputs A+B to speakers via binding posts, ensuring that the minimum
impedance is no lower than 4Ω per channel
When using 4 x 8Ω speakers, connect the speakers in 2 pairs to each other and then
connect one of each pair to an amplifier channel output.
Connect the sound source(s) to the appropriate 3.5mm jack or RCA input sockets
With the “VOLUME” control turned down, switch the power on.
Rotate the input rotary to select an audio source.
Gradually increase the volume level and check for sound from speakers.
Turn down the “VOLUME” rotary before switching off or unplugging the mains

Troubleshooting
NO OUTPUT -
Check mains power is on and fuse is OK
Check leads and connections
Check that “MUTE” is not selected and “VOLUME” is turned up
Check speakers are working on another amplifier
DISTORTED OUTPUT -
Ensure that master volume is not set too high
If the fuse blows, refer to qualified service personnel
No user serviceable parts inside, refer all servicing issues to qualified service personnel.
Clean case with a lint-free dry or slightly damp cloth, keep ventilation grille and fans clear of debris
Errors and omissions excepted.
