In metronome mode, this button changes the rhythm pattern played
In tuner mode, these up/down buttons change the A4 reference frequency 430 – 450Hz
In metronome mode, these up/down buttons change the tempo – beats per minute (bpm)
Press for 2 seconds to switch the MMT3 on/off
Short press in tuner mode switches the tone generator on/off
Short press in metronome mode starts/stops the beat

Getting started
Install batteries in the rear compartment, noting the polarity shown above
Place acoustic instruments near the internal MIC for tuning or plug in electric instruments via 6.3mm jack
For acoustic tuning in noisy environments, plug in the supplied contact pickup and clip onto the instrument
For audio output, rotate the top-mounted edge wheel to control volume of the internal speaker.
Alternatively, an earphone can be connected via the 3.5mm jack for quiet operation.

If the unit stops responding or the display “freezes”, remove the batteries and then replace them again
Avoid damage through impact, heat and keep away from liquids or direct sunlight
If display becomes dim, replace the batteries (2 x alkaline type AAA recommended)
