OPERATING THE ALARM
ARMS the alarm and locks the doors. The
siren will chirp once.
Blue button. Press to activate PANIC. Press
to turn o.
Green button. Press for BOOT RELEASE if
installed. The indicators will ash ve times.
THE SIREN
SIREN CHIRPS
1. One chirp - alarm is armed.
2. Three chirps - alarm is disarmed.
3. Four chirps on arm - a door, bonnet or boot is
open.
4. Continuous for 30 seconds - alarm is triggering.
5. AVS 3010+ - Continuous but won’t respond to
disarm - car battery is likely at (see The Siren).
DISARMS the alarm and unlocks the doors.
The siren will chirp three times.
AVS 3010+ AND AVS 3010
The AVS 3010 alarm has a standard siren.
The AVS 3010+ alarm has a battery back-up siren. It
is supplied with two keys that t the switch on the
top of the siren.
Turn the battery-back up siren o if you need to

disconnect the car battery, if the car battery goes
at, or if using Emergency Disarm from an armed
state. Remember to turn the siren back on.

EMERGENCY DISARM
IMPORTANT. Emergency disarm can be used to
disarm the alarm if the remotes are not working.
This is done using your alarm’s PIN being entered
via the ignition key.
1. Open the driver’s door. The siren will sound.
2. Enter the car and close the door. If your car has
interior light delay, wait until the light fades out.
3. Within 30 seconds turn the ignition from OFF
to ON and back to OFF the number of times for
your PIN code (5 times for the factory code) and
leave in the OFF position.
4. Wait 30 seconds until the siren stops. If the code
is correct the alarm will disarm. If the alarm does
not disarm the code was entered incorrectly.
The code can be any number between 5 and 15.
We recommend asking your installer to change it
to enhance the security of the system. Please make
a careful note of it if changed.
