If you are looking for a way to extend an HDMI signal, then this HDMI Transmitter and Receiver is what you have been searching for. This HDMI extender allows you to use two Cat.5e/6/7 cables to extend the HDTV display up to 30M for 1080P without any signal loss. It is equipped with HDMI connector and is capable of supporting DVI equipment when used with an HDMI to DVI adaptor. And if that weren’t enough, you can use a remote to control your device from over 30m away through an IR blaster and receiver pigtail.
It follows the standard of IEEE-568b, Cat.5e/6/7 cable can substitute HDMI cable to achieve long distance transmission. It is designed for use in home theater, professional A/V and personal computer switching applications.
Connect HDMI input port on transmitter to the signal source equipment such as DVD player.
Connect the 2x CAT5e/6/7 output on the transmitter with 2 CAT5e/6/7 cables to the CAT5e/6/7 inputs on the receiver.
Connect to the IR blaster cable (not included in the package) for IR signal transmission. Place the IR blaster in direct line-of-sight of the equipment to be controlled.
Connect HDMI output port on receiver to HDMI displays.
Connect to the IR receiver cable (not included in the package) for IR
signal reception. Make sure that the remote being used is in direct line-of-sight of the IR receiver.
Plug the 5VDC power supply into the receiver and connect the adaptor to AC outlet.
