Servicetechniker und Anlagenbetreiber.
Diese Dokumentation enthält wichtige Informationen, um das Produkt sicher und sachgerecht zu
montieren, in Betrieb zu nehmen, zu verwenden, zu demontieren und einfache Störungen selbst
zu beseitigen.

Produkt- und technologieabhängige Sicherheitshinweise
VORSICHT
Absinken des Vakuums!
Bei Störung oder Unterbrechungen der Druckluft- oder Vakuumversorgung kann das
erforderliche Vakuumniveau, z. B. zum Halten der Nutzlast, nicht gehalten werden.
O Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Anschlüsse des Ejektors korrekt verbunden sind und fest
sitzen.
O Verlegen Sie die Schläuche so, dass diese nicht geknickt, gequetscht oder beschädigt
werden und niemand darüber stolpern kann.
O Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich im Transportbereich unter der Nutzlast keine Personen
befinden.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Bei dem Produkt handelt es sich um eine pneumatische Anlagenkomponente.
Sie dürfen das Produkt wie folgt einsetzen:
O Verwenden Sie den Ejektor ausschließlich als Vakuumerzeugung, z.B. für die Evakuierung
von Sauggreifern zwecks Festhalten von Nutzlasten oder anderer Volumina.
O Halten Sie die in den technischen Daten genannten Betriebsbedingungen und
Leistungsgrenzen ein.
Das Produkt ist nur für die professionelle Verwendung und nicht für die private Verwendung
bestimmt.
Nicht bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
O Saugen Sie mit dem Ejektor keine Flüssigkeiten, aggressive oder brennbare Gase,
Schüttgüter (z.B. Granulate) oder gesundheitsgefährdende Stäube, Ölnebel, Dämpfe,
Aerosole an.
Für Schäden bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung übernimmt die AVENTICS keine
Haftung. Die Risiken bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung liegen allein beim Benutzer.
4 Zu diesem Produkt
Leistungsbeschreibung
Der Ejektor wird über den Anschluss 1 mit Druckluft versorgt. Das Vakuum wird im VenturiDüsenstock erzeugt und steht am Anschluss V zur Verfügung. Die durchströmende Druckluft
expandiert über den Anschluss 3 in die Umgebung.

Der Ejektor EBP ist in Abbildung in seinen beiden Bauformen dargestellt.

5 Montage
VORSICHT
Verletzungsgefahr durch Montage unter Druck oder Spannung!
Die Montage unter Druck oder anliegender elektrischer Spannung kann zu Verletzungen
führen und das Produkt oder Anlagenteile beschädigen.
O Schalten Sie den relevanten Anlagenteil drucklos und spannungsfrei, bevor Sie das
Produkt montieren.
O Sichern Sie die Anlage gegen Wiedereinschalten.
ACHTUNG
Durch nicht sachgerechte Verwendung und Handhabung kann der Ejektor beschädigt werden.
O Wirken Sie nicht gewaltsam auf den Ejektor ein.
O Befolgen Sie die Montagehinweise.
Einbaubedingungen
Der Ejektor kann in jeder beliebigen Lage eingebaut werden.

Ejektor auf einer ebenen Fläche montieren
Der Ejektor (8) kann mit geeigneten Befestigungsschrauben (9) entweder über
Durchgangsbohrungen (Gewinde in der Montagefläche ) oder über die Gewindebohrungen
(Gewinde im Ejektorgehäuse ) auf der Montagefläche (10) befestigt werden.
O Befestigen Sie den Ejektor mit mindestens 2 Befestigungsschrauben.
Die Abmessungen des Ejektors sind in Abbildung und in Tabelle aufgeführt.

VORSICHT
Hohe Lärmentwicklung!
Wird der Ejektor mit offenem Abluftanschluss 3 betrieben, entstehen hohe Lärmpegel. Auf
Dauer können hohe Lärmpegel zu einer Beeinträchtigung des Gehörs führen.
O Betreiben Sie den Ejektor ausschließlich mit Schalldämpfer oder Abluftschlauch.
O Verwenden Sie kurze Schläuche und kleine Volumina zwischen dem Ejektor und
angeschlossenem Sauggreifer.
O Verlegen Sie die Schläuche knick- und quetschfrei.
O Nur bei EBP-PT-10/.../-30, Vakuumanschluss V (4): Verwenden Sie den beigelegten
Dichtring (13), wenn die Gewindelänge der Verschraubung (12) die Gewindetiefe des
Vakuumanschlusses V (4) überschreitet.
1. Schalten Sie die Anlage drucklos und spannungsfrei.
2. Montieren Sie die Verschraubungen (12) an den Druckluftanschluss 1 (1), Vakuumanschluss
V (4) und Abluftanschluss 3 (5).
3. Optional kann am Abluftanschluss 3 (5) ein Schalldämpfer (14) montiert werden.
4. Gewindegrößen und Anzugsdrehmomente siehe , und .
5. Stecken Sie die Schläuche (11) in die Verschraubungen (12).
6. Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Anschlüsse des Ejektors korrekt verbunden sind und fest sitzen.
O Entfernen Sie die Verschlussschraube (6) um ein Vakuummessgerät anzuschließen.

8 Demontage und Austausch
VORSICHT
Verletzungsgefahr durch Demontage unter Druck oder Spannung!
Die Demontage unter Druck oder anliegender elektrischer Spannung kann zu Verletzungen
führen und das Produkt oder Anlagenteile beschädigen.
O Schalten Sie den relevanten Anlagenteil drucklos und spannungsfrei, bevor Sie das
Produkt demontieren.
O Sichern Sie die Anlage gegen Wiedereinschalten.
1. Schalten Sie die Anlage drucklos und spannungsfrei.
2. Trennen Sie alle pneumatischen Verbindungen.
3. Entfernen Sie alle Verschraubungen.
4. Lösen Sie alle Befestigungsschrauben.
9 Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt nach den nationalen Bestimmungen Ihres Landes.

6 Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb
VORSICHT
Verletzungsgefahr durch unkontrollierte Bewegungen der Aktoren beim Einschalten der
Pneumatik!
Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr, wenn sich das System in einem undefinierten Zustand
befindet.
O Bringen Sie das System in einen definierten Zustand, bevor Sie es einschalten!
Verletzungsgefahr durch herunterfallende Nutzlast bei absinkendem Vakuum!
Bei Störung oder Unterbrechungen der Druckluft- oder Vakuumversorgung kann das
erforderliche Vakuumniveau, z. B. zum Halten der Nutzlast, nicht gehalten werden.Es besteht
Verletzungsgefahr wenn Nutzlasten herunterfallen.
O Prüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme alle pneumatischen Verbindungen auf korrekte
Installation.
O Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich im Transportbereich unter der Nutzlast keine Personen
befinden.
Ejektor in Betrieb nehmen
Zur Inbetriebname des Ejektors gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Prüfen Sie, ob der Ejektor richtig montiert ist (siehe Montage und Sicherheisthinweise) und
stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Anschlüsse des Ejektors korrekt verbunden sind und fest sitzen.
2. Sichern Sie die zu schaltenden Komponenten vor unbeabsichtigten Reaktionen.
3. Beaufschlagen Sie die Anlage mit Druckluft.
4. Überprüfen Sie, ob das notwendige Vakuum erreicht worden ist (z. B. mit einem Manomenter
am Anschluss zur Vakuuanschluss V (Vakuumabfrage).

Reinigung und Pflege
ACHTUNG
Beschädigung des Ejektors oder der Dichtungen durch unsachgemäße Reinigung!
Die Oberflächen des Ejektors oder die Dichtungen können durch aggressive Reinigungs- und
Lösemittel beschädigt werden. Der Wasserdruck eines Hochdruckreinigers kann die
Dichtungen des Ejektors beschädigen.
O Verwenden Sie niemals Lösemittel oder aggressive Reinigungsmittel.
O Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keinen Hochdruckreiniger.
O Reinigen Sie den Ejektor mit einem feuchten Lappen und verwenden Sie dazu nur Wasser
oder ein mildes Reinigungsmittel.
Wartung
Der Ejektor ist wartungsfrei.

4 About This Product
Performance specifications
The ejector is supplied with compressed air via connection 1. The vacuum is generated in the
Venturi nozzle fitting and is supplied at connection V. The compressed air flowing through
expands to the environment via connection 3.

Intended use
The product is a pneumatic system component.
The product may be used as follows:
O Only use the ejector for vacuum generation, e.g. for the evacuation of suction grippers used
to hold useful loads or other volumes.
O Use is permitted only under the operating conditions and within the performance limits listed
in the technical data.
The product is intended for professional use only.
Improper use
O Do not use the ejector to suction any liquids, aggressive or flammable gases, bulk materials
(e.g. granulates), or toxic dusts, oil mists, vapors, and aerosols.
AVENTICS is not liable for any damages resulting from improper use. The user alone bears the
risks of improper use of the product.
Personnel qualifications
The work described in this documentation requires basic mechanical and pneumatic knowledge,
as well as knowledge of the appropriate technical terms. In order to ensure safe use, these
activities may therefore only be carried out by qualified technical personnel or an instructed
person under the direction and supervision of qualified personnel.
Qualified personnel are those who can recognize possible hazards and institute the appropriate
safety measures, due to their professional training, knowledge, and experience, as well as their

5 Assembly
CAUTION
Danger of injury if assembled under pressure or voltage!
Assembling when under pressure or electrical voltage can lead to injuries and damage to the
product or system components.
O Make sure that the relevant system part is not under voltage or pressure before you
assemble the product.
O Protect the system against being switched on.
NOTICE
The ejector may be damaged by improper use and handling.
O Do not forcefully impact the ejector.
O Follow the assembly instructions.
Installation requirements
The ejector can be mounted in any orientation.

Assembling the ejector on a flat surface
Using suitable mounting screws (9), the ejector (8) can either be attached to the assembly
surface (10) through the through holes (thread in the assembly surface ) or through the
threaded holes (thread in the ejector housing ).
O Fasten the ejector with at least 2 mounting screws.
The ejector dimensions are shown in Figure and Table .

Connecting the ejector pneumatics
CAUTION
High noise level!
A high noise level will result if the ejector is operated with exhaust connection 3 open. This
high noise level can lead to a loss of hearing over the long run.
O Only operate the ejector with a silencer or exhaust tubing.
O Only use short tubing and small volumes between the ejector and connected suction
gripper.
O Lay the tubes so as not to bend or crush them.
O Only with EBP-PT-10/.../-30, vacuum connection V (4): Use the provided sealing ring
(13), if the thread length of the fitting (12) exceeds the thread depth of the vacuum
connection V (4).
1. Make sure that the system is not under voltage or pressure.
2. Assemble the fittings (12) on compressed air connection 1 (1), vacuum connection V (4) and
exhaust connection 3 (5).
A silencer (14) can be optionally assembled on exhaust connection 3 (5).

3. Insert the tubing (11) in the fittings (12).
O Make sure that all the connections on the ejector are properly connected and are firmly fitted.
O Remove the blanking screw (6) to connect a vacuum measuring device.

6 Commissioning and Operation
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to uncontrolled actuator movements when the pneumatics are switched
on!
There is a danger of personnel injury if the system is in an undefined state.
O Put the system in a defined state before switching it on.
Danger of injuries due to falling loads when the vacuum drops!
The required vacuum level, e.g. to hold the useful load, cannot be maintained if there is a
malfunction or disruption to the compressed air or vacuum supply. There is a danger of
injuries when useful loads fall.
O Before start-up, check that all pneumatic connections have been correctly installed.
O Make sure that no persons are under the load in the transport area.
Commissioning the ejector
Proceed as follows to commission the ejector:
1. Make sure the ejector is correctly assembled (see Assembly and Safety Instructions) and that
all of the connections are properly connected and are firmly fitted.
2. Secure the components to be switched to prevent unintentional responses.
3. Apply the compressed air to the system.
4. Check whether the necessary vacuum has been attained (e.g. with a pressure gauge at
vacuum connection V (vacuum query)).
7 Service and Repairs
Cleaning and servicing
NOTICE
Damage to the ejector or seals due to improper cleaning!
The surface of the ejector and seals could be damaged by aggressive solvents and cleaning
agents. The water pressure of a high-pressure cleaner can damage the seals of the ejector.
O Never use solvents or strong detergents.
O Do not use high-pressure cleaners for cleaning.
O Clean the ejector with a moist cloth and only use water or a mild detergent.
8 Disassembly and Exchange
CAUTION
Danger of injury if disassembled under pressure or voltage!
Disassembling when under pressure or electrical voltage can lead to injuries and damage to
the product or system components.
O Make sure that the relevant system part is not under voltage or pressure before you
disassemble the product.
O Protect the system against being switched on.
1. Make sure that the system is not under voltage or pressure.
2. Disconnect all pneumatic connections.
3. Remove all fittings.
4. Loosen all mounting screws.
9 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with the currently applicable national regulations in your
country.
