1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the automatic mix-amplifier Genio 10 form AVE. Genio 10 is a device which is used impressively in medium and large rooms where the acoustic conditions complicate intelligibility. Genio 10 is equipped with 10 inputs: 8 balanced mic/line inputs, 2 switchable CD/Aux inputs with volume, treble and bass controls. Each mic/line input is equipped with a COMP controler, a GAIN control, a 3-band EQ, a volume, operating and peak display and a rocker switch for adjusting Line, Micro Low , Micro High and the connecting of phantom power (48 V). This makes it possible to seamlessly connect any type of microphone and produce a uniform sound pattern for each speaker.
The device also has a USB port and a SD card slot. The unit also offers a variety of additional features such as a directly controllable output 0 - +6 dB, optional remote control, a switchable sensitivity for CD, a switchable adjustable sensitivity for Aux, Output 1 and Output 2 for controlling an external power amp. The speaker outputs are designed for 100/70/50 V and also for 4 ohm. Each output has a 31-band graphic equalizer, a 6 parametric delay and a limiter assigned.
All sources are controlled by a 2-channel digital signal processor. The Genio 10 is equipped with its own software. All settings are made through a menu-driven user interface directly on the device. This makes programming easy and convenient – a laptop or PC is not needed. The user can instantly recall 20 different presets which can be set for different occasions. A protection circuit protects all settings from access by unauthorized persons.
Genio 10 is equipped with the latest technology (SMD, digital power amplifier, switching power supply). All components are integrated in a 19“ cabinet 2 U.
Genio 10 is available in for versions: 2x240 W, 1x240W, 2x150 W, 1x150 W. Sections 2., 3. and 4.1 in the manual are intended for the user where the components oft he device
are explained and the operation is described. The subsequent part is aimed at qualified professionals who are conducting the settings and programming.

The GENIO 10 comes with an approved power cable. At one end of this cable is a three-pronged AC power connector (IEC plug) and at the other end a CE-standard-compliant Schuko-plug for connecting to a 230V/50 Hz AC voltage source. Please ensure that this power supply cable is not

1. Control dial for COMP, GAIN, TREBBLE, MIDDLE and BASS
With the 5 potentiometers per channel the following settings can be made:
COMP: The compressor reduces the level after exceeding a threshold value.
GAIN: The GAIN control adjusts the gain of the channel at the level of the signal source at the input.
With the 3-band equalizer (treble, middle, bass) the microphone is adapted to the speaker to achieve
optimum sound.
TREBLE: ±12 dB bei 10 kHz MIDDLE: ±12 dB bei 700 Hz BASS: ±12 dB bei 70 Hz
2. Gate and Clipping display (channels 1–8): Visual indication of the activated or over-amplified input.
3. Volume control (channels 1–8): With the volume controls the level of the signal sources can be adjusted
which are connected to the microphone/line inputs. During the installation by the technical staff the optimal
level is set and will be indicated by an identification mark.

8. Volume/Value control dial: Control dial with integrated push button. Serves amongst others to control the
“Master Volume” that is to regulate the volume for all outgoing signals.
9. Preset/Parameter control dial: Control dial with integrated push button. Serves amongst others to retrieve
saved presets.
10. LCD Display: The bright display helps with a clear, user-friendly operation of the device.
11. Buttons: Rep, Prev Vol, Play Pause, Next Vol
12. Channel switch CD/Aux: Media selection. The playback devices are connected to the back.
