Avaya Security Vulnerability Classification
Avaya has identified an issue with the B179 SIP Conference Phone when trying to upgrade from R2.3.0 to R2.3.1. The upgrade will
appear to be successful but some internal software components will fail to change. Customers will notice this failure when trying to
configure encryption related features, such as SIP-TLS, 802.1x or SRTP, when using the web administration interface. The
configurations for these features will not appear on the web administration interface.
The resolution is to upgrade to service pack R2.3.3, which is available on support.avaya.com
