SETUP & USAGE

BATTERY INSTALLATION & POWER SUPPLY

• The scale can be powered with (2) “AAA” batteries or an external power supply.
Note: Batteries and power supply can be used at the same time. If used
simultaneously, the external power supply will be prioritized. The power supply
will not charge the batteries.

POWER ON

• Place the scale on a hard, flat, and level surface.

• Press the POWER key to power it on.

It will display “-188888”, then “0.000lb.”

NORMAL WEIGHING

• Place the object on the center of the platform.
The scale will display the weight of the object when reading is stable.

• Press the UNIT key to switch between metric and imperial units.

TARE FUNCTION

• Place an item on the scale and wait for a stable weight.

• Press the TARE key to zero out the weight of the item.

HOLD FUNCTION

• Press the HOLD key to keep the current weight of the object on the scale. The weight
will remain displayed for 10 seconds or press the HOLD key again to stop holding.

• To turn the hold function off: Press and hold the TARE and HOLD keys until “H-ON”
displays, then press the HOLD key to toggle between “H-ON” & “H-OFF”. Press the
TARE key to confirm your selection.

POWER OFF

• When the scale is powered by batteries, it turns off automatically after (5) minutes
of inactivity.

• To turn the auto-off function off when using batteries: Press and hold the TARE
and UNIT keys until “A-ON” displays, then press the UNIT key to toggle between
“A-ON” & “A-OFF”. Press the TARE key to confirm your selection.

• When the scale is powered by an adapter, press the POWER key to power it off.

CLEANING & STORAGE

• Dampen a cloth with a mild soap solution to clean the scale

• Do not use any harsh chemical cleaners.

• Do not wash down or immerse the scale. Any liquid inside the scale can cause
permanent damage.

• Remove batteries from the scale when it will not be used for an extended period of time.
