ICEMAKER INSTALLATION
AnThis refrigerator is equipped for installaon of a compable automac ice-maker.
Ice maker Model: IM11600 Frigidaire/Electrolux
Remove a protective cover before connecting the wire of the ice machine in the box.
Tools Required:
•1/4 inch copper supply line with shut off valve
•1/4 inch brass compression nut and ferrule
•Freezer shelf If your model does not have one, contact your dealer to order one.
The copper tubing and shut off valve are available in a kit from your local hardware or plumbing
supply store. Coil enough tubing at the back of the unit to allow movement for cleaning.
Unplug the refrigerator .To eliminate the danger of electric shock during installation, you

Needle Nose Pliers or Nut Driver
Disconnect the unit from the electrical supply.
Remove ice tray rack from freezer.

With the ice maker in one hand, plug the wiring harness

Reinstall the freezer shelf below the ice maker assembly.
Locate the factory punched holes at the lower right panel

Adjust the leveling bracket to ensure the ice maker
assembly is totally level.
The ice maker will be level when the gap between the
freezer wall and the ice maker assembly is the same at the
top and bottom.
Once completely level, tighten the leveling bracket screw.
Set the ice container below the ice maker assembly.

Align the water valve with the holes and secure the water
valve in place with the four (4) Phillips Head Self-Tapping
screws and a power drive with the Phillips Head bit.
Ensure the connection is secure.
19 Push the plastic water supply tube into the bottom of the
water valve as far as it will go.
Tighten the Nylon compression nut by hand to the water
valve.
Then tighten the nut until it is secure but DO NOT
overtighten using a wrench.
20 Secure the plastic water tubing to the rear of the
refrigerator cabinet with the two (2) plastic clamps
provided.
** NOTE **
Clean the area of the back of the unit where you will be
placing the plastic clamp with household cleaner, ammonia
or alcohol to provide a clean surface for the adhesive to
adhere to.
