ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
This appliance should be properly grounded for your safety.The power cord of
this appliance is equipped with a three - prong plug which mates with
standard three prong wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electric shock
• Do not,under any circumstances,cut or remove the third ground prong
from power cord supplied.

INSTALLATION
• Place your appliance on a floor strong enough to support it nhen fully
loaded.
• This appliance is designed for free standing only and should not be
recessed or built-in.
• Let air circulate freely around appliance. Keep rear 4 inches away from
wall and at least 5 inches space on sides.
• The location yon choose should be away from heat sources like stove,
heater or radiator.
• Avoid installing your appliance in humid places (like next to sinks).
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The temperature control dial has settings from thewarmest(l)to the coldest (6)
M clockwise ,plus“OFF'’.
Initially set the dial to the center position. After using the refrigerator for a
full day, adjust the dial to the setting that is best suited to your needs. Turning
the control to thr^OFF” stops the cooling cycle You must allow at least 3
minutes before starting it again.
DEFROSTING
Defrost whenever frost on the wall of the ice tray compartment becomes
1/4 inch thick. Remove food and ice tray and set temperature control dial to
"OFF".
Never use any sharp or metallic instrument to remove ice/frost as it may
damage the cooling coils. We recommend using a plastic scraper.
When defrosting is completed,remove drip tray and empty water from the drip
tray. Then turn temperature dial to desired setting and return food and ice
tray to the refrigerator.
Defrosting usually takes a few hours. To defrost faster, keep the door open.
Also, pouring warm water on the frosted part will help. Do not use boiling
water as it may damage plastic parts.
USE OF THE ICE CUBE TRAYS
For your ice requirements, fill approximately 3/4 of the tray after washing it
To release the ice cubes,hold the tray upside down and twist shghtlg at both
ends until the pieces of ice fall.
FREEZER COMPARTMENT
This compartment is designed for production of ice cubes and short term
storage (3 or 4 days at die most) of some commercial frozen foods. The
temperature in this compartment does not get cold enough to freeze food
safely for long periods of time.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the refrigerator and remove food^lves and tray. Wash inside mth
a solution of warm water and baking soda. Then rinse and dry. Do not use
soaps,detergents or spray cleaners as they may cause odors inside Compartment.
Wash ice cube tray, shelves and drip tray in mild detergent solntion and dry
with a soft cloth
To help prevent odors, leave an open box of baking soda inside the
refrigerator, on the shelf
Wipe outside of refrigerator with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water. Use
only mild,soapy water to clean the door gasket.
VACATION AND MOVING CARE
VACATION
Remove all the food if you are going for a month or more. Unplug the refrigerator
and clean it. Rinse well and dry. Keep doors open far enough for air to get
in. This will keep odor and mold from building up.
MOVING
Remove all food. Unplug the refrigerator and clean it thoroughly.
Take out all removable parts. Wrap all parts and tape them together so they
do not shift and-rattle. Tape the door skut
Be sure refrigerator stays in upright position during actual moving and in van.
Protect outside of refrigerator with blanket.
When you get to your new home,refer to “INSTALLATION" Paragraph.

Changing the Reversible Door
This refrigerator comes from the frctoiy with the door hinges
on the right.
If you wish to change the opening direction,follow instructions
below.
1. Using a sharp object, pry out the 3 plug buttons. Save the
plugs for later use.
2. Remove the upper hinge cover.
3. Remove the 2 phillips screws which connect the upper hinge
to the cabinet top.
4. Carefully lift the door, placing it on a padded surface to
avoid scratching.
5. Set the refrigerator door in its new position, making sure
the hinge pin enters the bushing at the bottom of the cabinet
6. While holding door in the closed positionjoosely secure the upper
hinge using the parts removed in step 3, Before tightening the
screws, rria'ke sure the top of the door is level with the cabinet
top.
7. Replace upper hinge cover.
8. Replace aU 3 plugs removed in step 1 to cover the holes at the
right
