Install the stones after the firebacks and stone grid are in place.
Stone Grid Installation
1. Place the front stone grid upside down on a non-scratching surface. Insert the left stone tab from
below through the slot as shown below. Secure the tab with one of the included screws.

2. Insert the right stone tab through the slot on the front stove grid as shown below. Secure with the
remaining screw.
The front stone grid should now look like the photo below.

3. Remove the rear air deflector from the fireplace as shown below. It is held in place with four (4)
screws (keep the screws).

4. Secure the rear stone grid to the fireplace as shown below (use the screws removed in step 3).
5. Install the front stone grid onto the burner.

6. Place the pilot stone tab on the pilot bracket as shown below.

Placing the Stones and Glass
Each stone has a number etched into and a slot. Place the stones onto the stone grid,
matching the number on the stone to the number on the grid. EXAMPLE: Stone marked “3”
is inserted over the tab marked “3” on the stone grid.
NOTE: Numbers on the stones always face the rear of the firebox.

1. Starting with stone number 1, place the stones in numerical order on the stone grid, paying close
attention to the notch/tab alignment and making sure the numbers face the rear of the firebox.
The stone placement sequence is shown below.

NOTE: Stone number 16 has no slot. It is placed on the screen to the left, as shown below.

2. Carefully pour the glass around the floor of the firebox, as shown below. Now we are working with
your inner artist. Here you must pay attention to create the best possible look. For hard to reach
areas, you can use a teaspoon to ensure all the black surfaces are covered.
The completed installation should look like the photos below.

3. The pilot area must be kept clear of glass to provide quick burner ignition.
