Overview
Overview
4KEX70-R is an HDBaseT Extender with HDMI re-clocking which offers
the distribution of uncompressed 3840 x 2160@60Hz 4:2:0 video,
power, RS232 and Bi-directional IR up to 40m. At 1080p@60Hz, it
reaches up to 70m.
With Bi-directional PoC (Power over Cable) integrated inside, it just
needs one power supply connected to Transmitter or Receiver to
power both units. Its 18V power supply is secured with a screw-on
connector to prevent the power from being accidentally
disconnected. It has LED indication for visual power supply to units
and signal status to show established connection between connected
devices.

Installation Instructions
Installation Instructions
1. Using quality HDMI cables, connect an HDMI source (such as
Blu-ray, games console, satellite/cable TV, media server etc.) to
HDMI IN of the Transmitter.
2. Connect a good quality Cat X cable between the HDBT OUT of
the Transmitter and the HDBT IN Input of the Receiver.
3. Connect the HDMI display device (LED/LCD display or projector)
to the HDMI OUT of the Receiver.
4. For IR control of connected sources and displays, connect IR
emitter to the IR Out port of the Transmitter and connect IR
receiver to the IR In port of the Receiver.
5. Connect the included 18V power supply to the Transmitter or
Receiver. With Bi-directional PoC (Power over Cable) integrated
inside, it just needs one power supply connected to Transmitter
or Receiver to power both units.
Make sure Power, HDCP & Link lights are illuminated on both units to
indicate successful connection, with a lit HDCP light illustrating the
presence of encryption within the signal. Power and Link are static
lights.

Warranty
Warranty
Products are backed by a limited 3-year parts and labor warranty. For
the following cases AV Access Technology Limited shall charge for the
service(s) claimed for the products if the product is still remediable
and the warranty card becomes unenforceable or inapplicable.
1. The original serial number (specified by AV Access Technology
Limited) labeled on the product has been removed, erased,
replaced, defaced or is illegible.
2. The warranty has expired.
3. The defects are caused by the fact that the product is repaired,
dismantled or altered by anyone that is not from an AV Access
Technology Limited authorized service partner. The defects are
caused by the fact that the product is used or handled
improperly, roughly or not as instructed in the applicable User
Guide.
4. The defects are caused by any force majeure including but not
limited to accidents, fire, earthquake, lightning, tsunami and war.
5. The service, configuration and gifts promised by salesman only
but not covered by normal contract.
6. AV Access Technology Limited preserves the right for
interpretation of these cases above and to make changes to
them at any time without notice.
