Overview
Overview
4KCVH2H is a 4K HDMI audio extractor with resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (chroma
sub-sampling 4:4:4 8-bit) and HDCP 2.2.
Its digital or analog audio output allows audio to be de-embedded from HDMI
input and sent to audio distribution system, such as AVR or Zone Amplifier. Its rotary
EDID switch has 16 EDID presets for EDID management.
By auto-detecting input signal status, it could automatically trigger CEC command
to turn on or off TV with CEC support. It can be used in any AV application, such as
homes, offices, digital entertainment centers, control centers, conference rooms,
schools and corporate training environments which need HDMI audio extraction.
HDMI in and HDMI out, HDMI up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit and HDCP 2.2 pass
through.
HDMI audio de-embedded out with Digital and Analog port.
Supports PCM 7.1, Dolby TureHD and DTS HD Master Audio from HDMI
output.
Support PCM, Dolby and DTS audio up to 5.1 channels from S/PDIF output.
EDID rotary switch on panel for EDID management function.
Built in CEC controller from HDMI out.
Automatic input cable equalization and signal regeneration compensation.
HDMI input and output both drive 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) 8bit with HDR up to 5m
over HDMI cable, while 1080p 24bit up to 15m.

headset. Note: This port only supports PCM2.0.

EDID Management
EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) is a data structure provided by a
digital display to describe its capabilities to a video source. The product features
an EDID management that can be used when the EDID dosen't meet the
installation requirements.
Switch for EDID Management with 16 presets as follows:

audio support descriptions for EDID setting during installation.

Five Steps of Regular Troubleshooting Routine
1 Power: Please make sure all devices are powered on (source, extractor,
display device).
2 Indicator: Please make sure power LED is normal powered on.
3 Devices: Please make sure pictures can be shown normally when
connecting source to display devices directly.
4 Cable: Plug in and out HDMI cable or try another HDMI cable.
For 1080p 24bit HDMI signal, the input/output HDMI cables are up to
15m(49ft);
For 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) 8bit HDR with HDCP 2.2 HDMI signal, the
input/output HDMI cables are up to 5m (16.4ft)
5 Compatibility: Please test the source and display device to determine
whether there are compatibility issues.
Typical questions
How to deal with video flash or cut off during installation?
Power indicator should be solid on. If not, please check if the power
adapter is well connected.
Please check if the HDMI cables are well connected to the source and
display. Try to change to a better HDMI cable. Also, make sure that
your source and display support 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit.

Warranty
Warranty
Products are backed by a limited 3-year parts and labor warranty. For the
following cases AV Access Technology Limited shall charge for the service(s)
claimed for the products if the product is still remediable and the warranty card
becomes unenforceable or inapplicable.
1. The original serial number (specified by AV Access Technology Limited)
labeled on the product has been removed, erased, replaced, defaced or is
illegible.
2. The warranty has expired.
3. The defects are caused by the fact that the product is repaired, dismantled
or altered by anyone that is not from an AV Access Technology Limited
authorized service partner. The defects are caused by the fact that the
product is used or handled improperly, roughly or not as instructed in the
applicable User Guide.
4. The defects are caused by any force majeure including but not limited to
accidents, fire, earthquake, lightning, tsunami and war.
5. The service, configuration and gifts promised by salesman only but not
covered by normal contract.
6. AV Access Technology Limited preserves the right for interpretation of these
cases above and to make changes to them at any time without notice.
