Description: European Side Blinkers Kit

Notes: These lights were designed to be used as supplemental blinkers to notify cars on the side of you that

you intend to turn or change lanes. If you are installing these lights on a Jetta 2, you’re in luck. The
holes are already there for you...just pull off the emblem on each fender and wire up the lights.

Procedure:

1. Use the template on this page for drilling holes for the side markers, with “Front“ pointing towards the
front of the car. The template shown is for the left side of the car, simply flip it over vertically to use on
the right side of the car. If in doubt, remember that the small hole always points towards the front of
the car.

2. Tap into the brown and black wires leading to the front turning indicator lights, either in the bumper or

in the quarter panel. Next, run the wires out of the large (15/16”) fender hole, through the rubber boot,
and crimp on the femal terminals. Insert the crimped femal terminals on to the side marker terminals,
slide the rubber boot over to seal the back side, line up the small tab of the side marker with the small
hole first and then snap the side marker into the large hole.
