Description: HD Polyurethane mount set, A4 Chassis trans/subframe
Notes: Our A4 transmission brace bushings reduce engine ‘rock’ under acceleration,

resulting in better power transfer

Procedure:

1) Remove the transmission brace from the car.
Using a 16mm and a 13mm wrench, unbolt the 4 bolts marked A and B (below) and remove

the brace from the car. A: 15ftlb/20Nm plus 90°; B: 30ftlb/40Nm plus 90°

2) Disassemble the brace by removing the bolt from the end.

3) Replace the rubber inserts with the new polyurethane versions. Use the diagram below as a
reference for proper location and orientation. Re-install the bolt and captive nut.

18 ftlbs / 25Nm

4) Re-install the brace on the car and tighten to specication (see step 1 for torques).
