SECURITY OPERATIONS
REMOTE TRANSMITTER OPERA TION
Y our AutoPage Security System comes with two 5-button Remote Control Transmitters that feature a sophisticated code hopping system that will prevent illegal use of a code grabber with an attempt to record and steal your transmitter codes.
LOCK – ARM & LOCK
To arm your Security System, press the LOCK button once. The siren will chirp (1) time and the vehicles parking lights will flash (1) time indicating that the Security System is now armed. The vehicles doors will lock upon arming when interfaced with the Security System.
UNLOCK – DISARM & UNLOCK
T o disarm your Security System, press the UNLOCK button once. The siren will chirp (2) times and the vehicles parking lights will flash (2) times indicating that the Security System is now disarmed. The vehicles doors will unlock upon disarming when interfaced with the Security System.
DELETING THE ARM/DISARM CHIRP
When attempting to arm or disarm your Security System, you have the option of temporarily muting the siren chirp sound. To perform this function, simply depress both LOCK & UNLOCK buttons on the Remote Control Transmitter at the same time. No chirp sound will be heard, arm / disarm confirmation will be through the vehicles parking lights only.
CAR LOCATOR
Y our AutoPage Vehicle Security System is equipped with a vehicle locator function which chirps the siren 6 times and flashes the vehicle’s parking lights 12 times to easily locate your vehicle. T o access
this function, simply press the CAR icon button firmly 2 times on the Remote Control T ransmitter .
REMOTE PANIC FUNCTION
The Remote Control Transmitter may be used as a remote panic switch that will activate the Security System’s siren and the vehicles parking lights in case of an emergency . T o activate the P ANIC function, press and hold the sound and the vehicles parking lights will flash continuously. To cancel the P ANIC function, press the lock or unlock button on the Remote Control Transmitter .

2nd CHANNEL AUXILIARY FUNCTION (OPTIONAL)
You may use the CAR icon button on your Remote Control Transmitter for a separate function. For example, if your vehicle is equipped with an electronic trunk release, the Security System can be inter­faced with it and can electronically release your trunk by pressing the CAR icon button for 2 seconds on the Remote Control Transmitter .
3rd CHANNEL AUXILIARY FUNCTION (OPTIONAL)
Y ou may use the CAR icon & LOCK buttons together on your Remote Control Transmitter for a sepa­rate function. For example, if your vehicle is equipped with power windows or a sunroof , the Security System can be interfaced with an optional window module that can electronically control your power windows or sunroof by pressing the CAR icon & LOCK buttons together for 2 seconds on the Remote Control Transmitter .
OVERRIDE FUNCTION
The OVERRIDE FUNCTION may be used if the Remote Control Transmitter is lost or inoperative. T o operate, enter the vehicle (alarm will sound), turn the vehicles ignition to the “ON” position and push the valet/override switch untill the Security System stops sounding. The Security System is disarmed & reset. Have your Remote Control Transmitter serviced or replaced.
VALET FUNCTION
The Security System has a valet or stand-by mode that can be used when the vehicle is being serviced or valet parked. T o activate the valet, turn the vehicles ignition to the “ON” position, then push and hold the valet / override switch for 2 seconds or until the Security Systems LED turns ON solid. Turn the vehicles ignition to the “OFF” position; your vehicle is now in valet mode. T o reactivate, repeat the above procedure noting the Security Systems LED will now turn OFF .
Note: If your vehicle has the Keyless Entry option installed, you can still lock and unlock the
vehicles doors with Remote Control Transmitter while in the V alet Mode.
PASSIVE/MANUAL OPERATION
Manual Arming / Disarming is controlling your Security System via the Remote Control Transmitter . This security system is equipped with an optional Passive Arming feature, which allows the Security System to arm 30 seconds after the last door is closed. Operation is as follows.
1. Turn the vehicles ignition to the “OFF” position and exit the vehicle.
2. After all entrances are closed, the Security Systems LED will flash fast for 30 seconds. If you re­open any door, the Security Systems LED will stop flashing. It will begin flashing again once the vehicles door is closed.
3. After the 30 second timer has elapsed, the Security System will automatically “ARM”. The siren will chirp (1) time and the vehicles parking lights will flash (1) time.
Note: If the vehicles door locks have been interfaced to the Security System, the vehicles doors
will automatically lock after the passive arming cycle has been completed. If this feature is not desired, see your local dealer and have the Security System re-programmed to elimi-
nate passive door locking.
PASSIVE ARMING BY-PASS
Y our AutoPage Vehicle Security System can temporarily by-pass the Passive Arming function via the Remote Control Transmitter . To temporarily by-pass Passive Arming, exit the vehicle and close all doors. The LED will begin the fast flash 30 second timer for passive arming. Press the CAR icon button on the transmitter twice, the security will respond with 1 chirp and the LED will turn “ON”. The security system will remain in this tempory state for as long as you wish. T o exit passive by-pass press the Lock or Unlock button and the system will return to normal status. (
This feature is only available when the Passive Arming feature is programmed ON”)
PRIORITY UNLOCK (OPTIONAL)
Your AutoPage Security System is equipped with a priority door unlock feature which will indepen­dently unlock the drivers door only when disarming the Security System. Pushing the Unlock button a second time within 3 seconds will unlock the entire vehicle.
This feature requires additional installation
and is not a standard feature of the Security System.
AUTOMATIC REARMING (OPTIONAL)
If this feature is selected, the Security System will automatically re-arm itself 60 seconds after disarm­ing with the Remote Control Transmitter. Automatic rearm will cancel if any door is opened before the 60 second timer has elapsed.
IGNITION CONTROL DOOR LOCKS (OPTIONAL)
If the vehicles door locks have been interfaced to the Security System, the Security System will auto­matically lock the vehicles doors when the ignition is turned ON and/or unlock the vehicles doors when the ignition is turned OFF”.
Note: If any door is open when the ignition is turned “ON, the Security System will not automatically lock the vehicles doors.

DOMELIGHT ILLUMINATED ENTRY (OPTIONAL)
Y our AutoPage Vehicle Security System is equipped with a domelight illuminated entry feature which will turn on the vehicles interior lights for 30 seconds after the Security System is disarmed / un­locked. This feature will reset once the vehicles ignition is turned ON or if the Security System is re­armed.
PATHWAY ILLUMINATION (OPTIONAL)
When disarming the Security System, the vehicles parking lights will stay on illuminating your path­way to the vehicle. The vehicles parking lights will stay on for 30 seconds or until the vehicles ignition is turned to the ON position.
3 or 30 SECOND ARMING DELAY (SELECTABLE)
After arming your vehicle with the Remote Control Transmitter , the siren will chirp (1) time and the vehicles parking lights will flash (1) time. The Security System will instantly go into a 3 second or 30­second standby mode to monitor all Security System functions. The install will program this feature to your reques. After the time has elapsed, the Security System is now be fully armed. If a door is opened or if you have a faulty sensor, the Security System will give a warning by chirping the siren (3) times.
SHOCK SENSOR
Y our AutoPage Security System includes a dual zone shock sensor designed to trigger the Security System from impact to the vehicle, such as a window being broken. If sensitivity adjustment should become necessary consult your local Authorized Dealer. Do not attempt to do this on your own!
SENSOR BYPASS
Y our AutoPage Vehicle Security is equipped with a sensor bypass feature that disables the shock & option sensors in the event your vehicle is subject to false alarms. T o enable the sensor bypass mode, simply press the LOCK button twice within 3 seconds when arming the Security System. The Secu­rity System will chirp one additional time to confirm the sensor bypass mode was activated. The Sensor Bypass feature is programmed to activate for one arming cycle only. The Security System will return to normal operation during the next arming cycle.
STARTER DISABLE FEATURE (OPTIONAL)
If installed with your Security System, this feature is designed to prevent a thief from starting your vehicle once they have broken in to it.

Transmitter Programming
Enter:
1. Turn ignition switch ‘ON’.
2. Press the valet switch 3 times.
3. Horn will give one long chirp and the LED will begin to flash once every 3 seconds.
Programming:
1. Press the any button on the first transmitter.
2. The horn will chirp 1 time.
3. Within 10 seconds push any button on the second transmitter
4. The horn will chirp 2 times.
5. To program 3rd & 4th transmitters repeat steps 1 & 2 of programming.
Exit:
1. Turn the vehicle’s ignition to the ‘OFF’ position, Or Leave for 10 seconds.
2. The horn will give 3 long chirps to confirm exiting program­ming.
Second V ehicle Transmitter Programming
Your Autopage Remote Start System’s remote transmitter can be programmed to control a second vehicle equipped with an RST2050KE or RST2053AL. To program the transmitter to a second vehicle, follow the instruction for transmitter program­ming. All steps will be the same except for the following:
1. Prior to pushing any button on the transmitter. Press the side Green shift button first.
2. Once the Green button is pressed the LED on the transmitter will illuminate for 3.5 seconds
3. While the LED is illuminated, press any button on the transmitter.
NOTE: The RST2050KE will only retain the last 4 remote transmitters programmed into the system. If the transmitter memory is exceeded, the RST2050KE will start deleting transmitters in the order of their programming.
REMOTE START FEA TURES
The remote start feature is activated using the remote control transmitters.
START :
a) Press the red * (star) button for 2 seconds. b) The vehicles parking lights will flash 2 times and stay “ON”. c) All doors will lock. d) The ignition will turn ON and check the system; after 3 seconds the vehicle will start. e) Three seconds after start the Accessory will turn “ON”. f) The vehicle will run for the length of run-time selected.
Operating during remote start function:
The remote start can function while the vehicle is in the Locked secured mode. When the engine is running from the remote start you can insert the key into the vehicle’s ignition and turn the key to the run position. Tap the brake pedal, the remote start will shut down. The engine will remain running from the key in the ignition.
REMOTE START SAFTEY FEA TURES
If the remote start system detects any of the following conditions prior to remote starting or while the vehicle is running, the system will not start or will shut down the system
immediately if running.
SAFTEY FEA TURES:
a) The vehicles hood is opened. ! b) The vehicles brake pedal is pressed. c) The vehicles engine exceeds 2000 RPM idle speed. " e) The programmable run time has elasped.
! Additional installation maybe required. " When programmed to Tach Sensing only.
DIAGNOSTIC PARKING LIGHTS CODES
The system has a built-in diagnostic routine which indicates why the unit turned the engine off. The parking will flash 1 to 5 times to indicate which
of the following caused the engine to shut off or not start from transmitter.
CODES:
1. 1 Flash ---- RPM fail
2. 2 Flash ---- Voltage fail
3. 3 Flash ---- Hood pin fail
4. 4 Flash ---- Brake Light fail
