The docking station provides a place to store your tester. It is designed to charge the internal battery for both the Load Module and Control Module, and maintain the batteries at a full charge.

CONGRATULATIONS!
You have purchased Auto Meter’s AC-90 Docking Station. The docking station is designed to be mounted on a vertical surface and provides a place where you can store your tester and charge the Li-Ion internal batteries for both the Load Module and Control Module. Once the batteries are charged, the docking station will maintain them at full state of charge.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Hold the docking station up to the vertical surface that it is to be mounted to. Leave at least 9” of clearance below the docking station for the tester leads to hang.
2. Make sure that the docking station held level, and mark the mounting hole locations with a pencil through the key hole shaped mounting holes.
3. If desired, a 3/32” diameter pilot hole can be drilled for the mounting holes.
4. Place the at washer and screws through the mounting holes and
tighten the screws.

Provide adequate ventilation to remove car
exhaust.

Plug the included power supply in to a power outlet receptacle. Then plug the barrel connector from the power supply in to the left side of the docking station.
Place the tester into the docking station by placing the carrying handle over the docking station handle hook and then swing the bottom into the docking station until the tester falls into position. The clear light pipe on the right side of the tester will allow you to see the charging status LED on the tester.
LED Status: Solid Red or Blinking Red = Charging Load Module Battery and Charging Control Module Battery Solid Green = Both the Control Module and Load Module batteries are fully charged
You can check the battery charge status by waking up the control module and pushing the 3 vertical squares in the upper right hand corner of the screen, then on the drop down menu, push “Battery Status”. The battery charge status will be shown for both the Control Module and Load Module. Note, the Load module must on or docked to the docking station in order to display the Load Module’s battery charger status.
USAGE
The tester can be stored indenitely in the charging station. The docking
station will not over charge the batteries.

LIMITED WARRANTY
12 MONTHS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE
The manufacturer warrants to the consumer that this product will
be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of
twelve (12) months from the date of original purchase.
Products that fail within this 12 month warranty period will be
repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's option to the consumer,
when determined by the manufacturer that the product failed due
to defects in material or workmanship. This warranty is limited
to the repair or replacement of parts and the necessary labor
by the manufacturer to effect the repair or replacement of the product. In no event shall the manufacturer be responsible for special, incidental or consequential damages or costs incurred
due to the failure of this product. Improper use, accident, water damage, abuse, unauthorized repairs or alterations voids this warranty. The manufacturer
disclaims any liability or consequential damages due to breach of
any written or implied warranty on its test equipment.
WARRANTY AND SERVICE INFORMATION
Warranty claims to the manufacturer's service department must
be transportation prepaid and accompanied with dated proof of
purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser
and is non-transferable. Shipper damage incurred during
return shipments is not covered under this warranty. It is the
responsibility of the shipper (the customer returning the Test
Equipment) to package the tester properly to prevent any damage
during return shipment. Repair costs for such damages will be
charged back to shipper (customer returning the Test Equipment).
Protect the product by shipping in original carton or add plenty
of over-pack cushioning such as crumpled up newspaper.
