Recommended Minimum System

Requirements

Mudbox 2011

The 32-bit version of Autodesk® Mudbox™ 2011 software is supported by any of the following
operating systems:

 Microsoft® Windows® 7 Professional operating system
 Microsoft® Windows Vista® Business operating system (SP1)
 Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional operating system (SP3)

The 64-bit version of Mudbox 2011 software is supported by any of the following operating systems:

 Microsoft Windows 7 Professional x64 Edition
 Microsoft Windows Vista Business x64 (SP1)
 Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (SP2)
 Apple® Mac OS® X 10.6.2 operating system

Mudbox 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack

The 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Mudbox 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack are supported on all the
operating systems listed above plus the following on the 64-bit Linux operating system:

 Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 5.4 WS operating system
 Fedora™ 11 operating system

Hardware

Mudbox 2011

At a minimum, the 32-bit version of Mudbox 2011 software requires a system with the following
hardware:

 Windows: Intel® Pentium® 4 or higher, AMD Athlon™ 64, or AMD Opteron™ processor
 2 GB RAM
 650 MB free hard drive space
 Certified hardware-accelerated OpenGL® graphics card
 Ethernet adapter or wireless Internet card
 DVD-ROM drive
 Three-button mouse or certified Wacom® tablet

At a minimum, the 64-bit version of Mudbox 2011 software requires a system with the following
hardware:

 Windows: Intel® EM64T processor, AMD Athlon 64, or AMD Opteron
 Macintosh® computer: Intel-based Macintosh computers with a 64-bit processor (Core 2 Duo

or later)

 2 GB RAM
 650 MB free hard drive space
 Certified hardware-accelerated OpenGL graphics card
 Ethernet adapter or wireless Internet card
 DVD-ROM drive
 Three-button mouse or certified Wacom tablet

Mudbox 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack

At a minimum, the 64-bit version of Mudbox 2011 Subscription Advantage pack software requires a
system with the hardware listed above, including the following for Linux:

 Intel® EM64T, AMD Athlon 64, AMD Opteron, or AMD Phenom™ processor

Notes

 To view the Mudbox documentation online, you must have Internet access and current

browser software.

 Apple® QuickTime® 7.0 is recommended for viewing the Mudbox Learning Movies.
