ACM120P
120W Power Amplifier
Description
The ACM120P is a 120 watt power amplifier with outputs for 4 and 8 ohms, 70 and 100 volt
line. It may be desk or rack mounted. The ACM120P features a flat screwdriver accessible gain
control on the rear panel. This amplifier features a status LED.
Inputs and Outputs
The ACM120P features a balanced line level XLR input with a parallel output to feed additional
power amplifiers. The unit has industry standard 3 pin XLR microphone sockets. The ACM120P
features 100 volt, 70 volt, 8 and 4 ohm isolated transformer outputs via a rear panel barrier strip.
Protection
Internal current limiting protects the amplifier from both overload and overdrive conditions.
Should the amplifier be overdriven, a current limiter will protect the unit, and in a worst case
scenario the amplifier will shut down until the problem is resolved. Once the problem is fixed
(shorted speaker line, or overdriven input), the amplifier will automatically reset and continue
operation. The ACM120P features generous heatsinking.
Australian Monitor Installation Series amplifiers feature a protection network that provides
greater stability and performance. Our amplifiers are recognised
worldwide for their reliability and this is due to the extensive levels of
current limiting which protect the amplifiers from both overload and
overdrive conditions.

ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SPECIFICATIONS
The 120 watt power amplifier shall be designed to run 100 and 70 volt line audio systems. The unit shall
also feature a 4 and 8 ohm output. The amplifier may be desk or rack mounted.
The amplifier must be capable of delivering 120 watts into an 80 ohm inductive load with less than 0.5%
distortion measured at 1kHz and with system hum and noise of -80dB or better. Internal current limit-
ing shall protect the amplifier from both overload and overdrive conditions.
The amplifier shall be an Australian Monitor Installation Series model ACM120P.
