6. Attention! Before setup:
● check system for DVR driver
● check if Direct X 7.0 or higher is installed
● remove HDD Automatic Disk clean options
: Select Drive → Property → Disk Clean → Setup
→ “When a shortage of HDD Drive space, do automatically disk clean”
remove a checked option
● set image resolution to 1024×768 mode & 32bit color

� DVR Software Installation
1.Setup
1-1. Insert DVR Application Disk in Floppy Drive
1-2. Double Click on Install file
1-3. Choose the folder you wish to install this software to and click "Install"

1-4. Complete setup and system reboot

1-6. Run DVR Application software
1-7. Check that the DVR System menu appears on the Program menu
1-8. Check that the DVR System icon appears on the Start Program
1-10. Software installation has been completed successfully
1-11. Remove Install disk
2. DVR software Reinstall
2-1. Pay attention when deleting data files during program reinstallation
2-2. Previous data files will be removed automatically if “No more Query” is
selected
2-3. Follow the steps for initial installation to complete the process

3-1 run Uninstall in the DVR system Folder

DVR Status Panel
1. Information: displays date & other system information
2. Recording Camera: display the status of each camera
2-1. Gray: indicates an inert camera
2-2. Green: indicates an active camera
2-3. Red: indicates a camera is recording

3. Sensor Detect: displays the status of detection sensors
3-1. Gray: indicates an inert sensor
3-2. Green: indicates an active sensor
3-3. Red: indicates a sensor has been activated

6. HDD Capacity: displays current HDD capacity

9-1. To open click "Event log"

1-1. System location: select the name of the system you wish to use
1-2. Save Data Directory: select the folder you wish to save data too
1-3. Auto Switching Interval: select the time period for auto switching
1-4. Power On/Off: select this option to shut the computer down when closing this
application
1-5. Display Channel Text: turn channel information display on/off
1-6. Video Signal Type: select video input signal

DVR Trouble Shooting
1. When there is no capture image on the screen
1-1. Check camera connection (power, cable)
1-2. Check DVR software is properly installed
1-3. Check that DirectX version 7 or later is installed
2. Errors during recording mode
2-1. Check recording settings on the setup panel
2-2. Check the light color in the recording panel
2-3. Check HDD capacity
3. Errors during Replay mode
3-1. Check the date and time of the recording
3-2. Check recording timetable
4. No response to PTZ controls
4-1. Check the PTZ connections
4-2. Check PTZ support is selected in the setup menu
4-3. Check PTZ settings in the setup system
5 Errors with the HDD
5-1. Check the Disk Clean Option in the property menu
5-2. Check the HDD Disk Option is set to "recycle"
5-3. Back up data to an other storage device, or delete bad sectors
Caution : DO NOT DELETE data folder( only delete files in the folder)
