This quick installation guide provides instructions for installing your Aurora PCI 4MB in your computer.

Resolution and Color Depth
The Aurora PCI 4MB comes with 4MB EDO DRAM installed on-board. The chart below describes the colors and resolutions it supports:

Hardware Installation
Proceed with the following instructions to install your Aurora PCI 4MB in your computer. General instructions are given since the design of computer cases varies. Refer to your computers reference manual whenever in doubt.
Note Leave the Aurora PCI 4MB in its static resistant bag until you are ready to install it.
Caution Static Electricity Discharge may Permanently damage your system. In order to avoid possible static electricity discharge during installation procedures, please follow the guidelines below:
Discharge any static electricity build up in your body by
touching a large grounded metal surface or the computers case (if plugged in), for a few seconds.
During installation procedures, avoid any contact with
internal parts. Handle cards only by their edges.
1. Turn OFF the power to your computer and any other connected peripheral devices.
2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the computer.
3. Remove your computers cover by removing its mounting screws and sliding off the cover.

Customer Service Department
If the Technical Support Specialist determines that the product may be defective, you can return it for repair or replacement.
Step 1: Call SIIG's Customer Service Department Call the Customer Service Department at (510) 657-8688 ext.
5333 for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Please have the product serial number available. It is located on the side of the box and on the back of the product.
Step 2: Complete the RMA form
 Fill out your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form,
and include it in the package along with the original materials.
 Clearly write your RMA number on the outside of the returned
shipping package and on the accompanying RMA form.
SIIG will refuse to accept any shipping package, and not be responsible for a product returned without a RMA number posted on the outside of the shipping carton.
Step 3: Ship the Aurora PCI 4MB
You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to SIIG at the following address:

SIIG will ship the repaired or replaced the product via UPS Ground or US Mail at no cost to you.

4. Remove any existing video graphics adapters that may be in the system. Disable the motherboard's built-in video, if there is one.
5. Remove the slot bracket by unscrewing the holding screw and sliding it out. Save this screw for securing the Aurora PCI 4MB after its installed.

6. To install the Aurora PCI 4MB, carefully align the cards bus connector to the PCI slot on the motherboard. Push the card down firmly, but gently, until it is well seated.
Note Hold the card by its external edges only. Try to avoid touching the components, connectors or pins.
NOTE If you get warning window MSSETUP, No hardware device found! Please check your hardware card first. Make sure card is installed correctly, if installed correctly then try different slot or exchange card for new card.
5. Click on SIS6326 3D Setup to install the drivers, follow the on screen instructions to complete installations.
Windows NT 4.0
1. Start NT 4.0, change the Display Properties to standard VGA and restart NT.
2. Once Windows is restarted, insert the Driver Installation CD into CD-ROM. The Setup program should auto launch, If not then double click on MSSETUP.EXE from the Driver Installation CD root directory.
3. The SiS6326 Setup will auto detect your Windows versions and hardware if present then display option menu window.
NOTE If you get warning window MSSETUP, No hardware device found! Please check your hardware card first. Make sure card is installed correctly, if installed correctly then try different slot or exchange card for new card.
4. Click on SIS6326 3D Setup to install the drivers, follow the on screen instructions to complete installations.
Your Display Adapter drivers are installed.

Windows 95B (OSR2)
1. Start Windows, at the Update Device Driver Wizard, you want to install a Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) by clicking on NEXT until FINISH.
2. Provide Windows 95 CD-ROM if prompted and follow on screen instructions to install the drivers then click OK to restart Windows.
3. Once Windows is restarted, insert the Driver Installation CD into CD-ROM. The Setup program should auto launch, If not then double click on MSSETUP.EXE from the Driver Installation CD root directory.
4. The SiS6326 Setup will auto detect your Windows versions and hardware if present then display option menu window.
NOTE If you get warning window MSSETUP, No hardware device found! Please check your hardware card first. Make sure card is installed correctly, if installed correctly then try different slot or exchange card for new card.
5. Click on SIS6326 3D Setup to install the drivers, follow the on screen instructions to complete installations.
Your Display Adapter drivers are installed.
Windows 98 / 98 SE
1. Start Windows, at the Add New Hardware Wizard, you want to install a Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) by clicking on NEXT until FINISH.
2. Click OK to restart system.
3. Once Windows is restarted, insert the Driver Installation CD into CD-ROM. The Setup program should auto launch, If not then double click on MSSETUP.EXE from the Driver Installation CD root directory.
4. The SiS6326 Setup will auto detect your Windows versions and hardware if present then display option menu window.
7. Replace the slot bracket's holding screw to secure the board to the rear slot panel.
8. Replace the computer cover.
The hardware installation have now been complete.
Software Installations
This section will guide you through the installations of the following driver:
Windows 95/98/98 SE(Second Edition) Windows NT 4.0
Windows 95 & Window 95a
1. Start Windows, at the New Hardware Found, select Do not install drivers (Windows will not prompt you again) then click OK.
2. Click Cancel for Display box then cancel again at the Display Properties box. If Windows prompt to restart then click OK to restart Windows.
3. Once Windows is restarted, insert the Driver Installation CD into CD-ROM. The Setup program should auto launch, If not then double click on MSSETUP.EXE from the Driver Installation CD root directory.
4. The SiS6326 Setup will auto detect your Windows versions and hardware if present then display option menu window.
NOTE If you get warning window MSSETUP, No hardware device found! Please check your hardware card first. Make sure card is installed correctly, if installed correctly then try different slot or exchange card for new card.
5. Click on SIS6326 3D Setup to install the drivers, follow the on screen instructions to complete installations.
Your Display Adapter drivers are installed.
