ASSEMBLY / USER GUIDE
Thank you for purchasing the Auralex® ProGO-26™. This is a highly effective portable acoustic absorption
device that can be easily positioned anywhere in a room to achieve the desired acoustical tuning.
The ProGO-26 Contains:
(1) 24” x 72” (60.96 cm x 182.88 cm) ProGO absorption panel
(shipped in two halves)
(1) 12” x 24” (30.48 cm x 60.96 cm) Base plate with eight through
holes and five sets of pilot holes on the bottom for the addition of
the optional caster kit.
(2) 22” x 7.75” (55.88 cm x 19.69 cm) Upright panels
(8) Screws
(4) Rubber isolation feet
(1) Tubetak Pro liquid adhesive
1. Unpack the two halves of ProGO panels and set aside.
2. Retain the Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) packing pad for stand assembly.
NOTE the four pilot
holes in the bottom,
unfinished edges of
the upright panels
TOOLS NEEDED: Calk gun, Putty knife and a #3 Phillips screw driver. A power driver with an adjustable clutch is
recommended. Start with a lower clutch setting to avoid stripping screw heads or the wood panels!
ProGo Base Assembly
1. Place the 20” (50.8 cm) square EPS packing pad on a flat
rigid work surface.
2. Stand the bottom panel on end with the top surface next to
the EPS packing pad.
3. Insert one of the supplied screws through one of the upper
holes in the base from the bottom side (the side containing
the five sets of pilot holes).
4. Position one of the upright panels on top of the EPS packing
pad and perpendicular to the top surface of the bottom
panel.
5. Align the tip of the screw with the appropriate pilot hole in
the bottom edge of the upright panel and start by hand (see
image at far right).
6. Insert the remaining three screws through the base panel,
align with the corresponding holes and snug by hand.
7. Tighten the screws with a power screw driver.
8. Apply the supplied rubber isolation feet to the bottom
corners of the base if casters will not be added.
(Delete this step if casters will be installed and refer to the
installation guide supplied with the ProGO caster kit.)

ProGo Panel Assembly
1. Set ProGo base assembly aside.
2. Place the beveled bottom half of the ProGo face down on a clean
surface.
3. Place the 20” (50.8 cm) square EPS packing sheet at the end of the
panel as an assembly shim.
4. Apply a bead of Auralex TubeTak Pro around the perimeter of the
unfinished overlap area about 5 cm inboard from the edges.
5. Apply additional TubeTak Pro adhesive to the center of the overlap
area in an “X” pattern.
6. Smooth out the bead of adhesive with a putty knife as shown below.
7. Carefully align the corners and edges of the two halves and press
together. Be careful not to apply excessive force which may damage
the panel.
8. Place a flat, moderately heavy object (approx. 4.5 kg), such as a large
book, in the center of the overlap area and allow 12 hours drying time
before using.
9. Insert the ProGO panel assembly into the space between uprights of
the assembled base.
