4. As per CUE
S18 supports fla c/ ap e/wav associate d wi th CUE file, but a few iss ue s below must be paid at te nt ion to:
1) O ne f ol der could only be put i nt o one CUE file. After ent er ing into folder, eac h so ng c ould be seen
directly.
2) A t pr es ent, CUE only suppo rt s ASCII format and wil l op en UTF-8 format to us er l ater. If normal
display can not b e ob ta ined, pls use noteb oo k of windows to open CU E fil e and save as ASCII form at .
3) F la c fil e either has no SEEK re gi ster or a far distanc e be tween start-and -e nd p oint.
Compared with AP E, WAV, s tart-and-end ti me p oint of CUE file will be f ar ther. If requires a hi gh
performance , pl s co nvert into WAV or A PE because APE and WAV do no t ha ve such problem. La te r
algorithm wou ld b e op timized as much as po ss ible.
5. As per SACDISO fi le
1) S 18 s up ports ISO file with DS D6 4 format. If S18 can no t pl ay it, pls use footba r to o pen it and check its
property is DSD 64 o r no t.
2) S AC D IS O and CUE display ali ke , they display name o f ea ch song directly. One folder is only al lo we d
to put into one ISO fi le a nd fi le type will be shown o n in terface of playin g.
6. As per layer of fo ld er a nd length of file name
1) T he m ax imum layer of file fol de r S18 could support i s no m ore than 7. Otherwi se t he y will be filtered
out. So pls not exc ee d th is figure to play song s.
2) T he m ax imum length of file na me i s no more than 100 char ac ters. If it is Chines e ch ar acter, it should
be less than 50. Ot he rw ise, they can not be re co gnized.
