ACM 250P
250w Power Amplifier
Description
The ACM250P is a 250 watt power amplif ier wit h outputs for 4 ohms, 70 and 100 v olt line. It may be desk or rack
mounted but is packaged as self standing with rubber feet. The ACM250P features a flat screwdriver accessible
gain control on the rear panel.
Inputs
The ACM250P features two signal inputs. The unit has industry standard 3 pin XLR microphone sockets. Two line lev el
sockets are provided for bridged in/out connection.
Outputs
The ACM250P features 100 volt, 70 volt and 4 ohm isolated transformer outputs.
Protection
Internal current limiting protects the amplifier from both overload and overdriv e condit ions. The ACM250P also
features protection in the form of excess temperature auto cut out. An in built auto temperature sensing fan will
turn on at a factory default lev el but in most situat ions, will never be req uired.

The 250 watt power amplif ier shall be designed to run 100 volt line audio s ystems. The unit shall also feat ures a four
ohm output. The amplifier may be desk mounted as standard or rack mounted with the addition of an optional
rack mount kit.
The unit s hall feat ure high temperature prot ection with front panel indicat ion. An in built auto temperat ure sensing
fan shall cool the unit when required and automatically turn off again once the amplifier is running at the correct
temperature. The amplifier must be capab le of deliv ering 250 watts into a fourty ohm induct iv e load wit h less than
0.5% distort ion measured at 1kHz and with system hum and nois e less than 74dB.
The amplifier shall be an Audio Telex model ACM250P, manufactured in Aust ralia.
