AudioQuest VDM Series cables minimize distortion across an extremely wide bandwidth. A 75Ω cable is a
conduit which must carry relatively low frequency analog video (Composite, up to 4.2MHz), super-sensitive
digital audio (SP/DIF, up to 24.576 MHz), uncompressed High Definition video (HDTV, up to 750 MHz), or
cable TV/broadband (CATV, up to 1 GHz). VDM (preterminated) and HD6 (use with ITC connectors) cables
carry all these signals.

Various percentages of silver-plating used in other VDM models allow much higher performance than bare
copper. VDM-5’s Solid Perfect-Surface Silver provides the highest possible performance. The combination
conductive PVC and Silver-Plated braid shield significantly lowers distortion. Direct-Silver Plated RCA plugs
are welded to VDM-5 with 8,000 amperes, commingling the molecules for an ideal connection. BNC
connectors are also available.
