POWER SUPPLY
Ensure that the insource voltage (AC outlet) matches the voltage rating of the product. Failure to do so could result in damage to the product and possibly the user. Unplug the product before electrical storms occur and when unused for long periods of time to reduce the risk of electric shock or fire.
2
EXTERNAL CONNECTION
Always use proper ready-made insulated mains cabling (power cord). Failure to do so could result in shock/death or fire. If in doubt, seek advice from a registered electrician.
FUSE
To prevent fire and damage to the product, use only the recommended fuse type as indicated in this manual. Do not short-circuit the fuse holder. Before replacing the fuse, make sure that the product is OFF and disconnected from the ACD outlet.
PROTECTIVE GROUND
Before turning the unit on, make sure that it is connected to Ground. This is to prevent the risk of electric shock. Never cut internal or external Ground wires. Like wise, never remove Ground wiring from the Protective Ground Terminal.
OPERATING SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions. Follow all instructions. Keep these instructions. Do not discard. Heed all warnings. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
This symbol indicates that the disposal of this product is submitted to local regulations. Please contact your local dealer.
DISPOSAL
Important Safety Instructions
This symbol, wherever used, alerts you to the presence of un-insulated and dangerous voltages within the product enclosure. These are voltages that may be sufficient to constitute the risk of electric shock or death.
This symbol, wherever used, alerts you to important operating and maintenance instructions.
DO NOT REMOVE ANY COVERS
Within the product are areas where high voltages may present. To reduce the risk of electric shock do not remove any covers unless the AC mains power cord is removed. Covers should be removed by qualified service personnel only. No user serviceable parts inside.
POWER CORD AND PLUG
Do not tamper with the power cord or plug. These are designed for your safety. Do not remove Ground connections! If the plug does not fit your AC outlet seek advice from a qualified electrician. Protect the power cord and plug from any physical stress to avoid risk o electric shock. Do not place heavy objects on the power cord. This could cause electric shock or fire?
SERVICING
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel only. Do not perform any servicing then those instructions contained within this User’s Manual

Thank you for purchasing Audiopole CLIMAX 1002 and 2002. They have been designed for middle and high power applications and can be used for touring or fixed installations.
Compact and light, the devices combine Class-D amplification and switching power supply. With high efficiency, both models respectively deliver 2 x 500 W and 2 x 950 W RMS / 4 Ω, up to 1000 and 1900 W RMS / 8 Ω in Bridge mode.
A backlit LCD displays temperature, gain and level for both channels. Two other Led indicators are dedicated to signal presence, clip and protection.
Balanced combo XLR/Jack inputs are available including Link Out on male XLR. Outputs binding post terminals and Speakon make output connections easy for any type of speaker system.
The control circuitry provides a full protection against DC, short circuit, reactive or mismatched loads, RF, ultrasonic, open circuit, excessive temperature and turn on/off transient.
A breaker circuit replaces the conventional fuse for quick and secured resetting.

A - Front panel
1- POWER
Power ON/OFF switch.
2 - SIGNAL / CLIP LED
The LED will turn green when the respective channel’s output signal pass through. Further more, these LED will turn red when the signal is too strong, which means it is time to reduce input level until clip LED turns off.
3 - PROTECTION LED
In normal operation, the Led will not illuminate; if the Led is red, it means the unit is in heat protection, no sound is output. The speaker system is actually disconnected from the amplifier outputs when this LED is red, the temperature must be lowered by better ventilation and decrease the signal level. If the problem is corrected, the protection systems deactivate automatically, and normal amplifier operation is resumed.
4 - VOLUME CONTROLS
The input level can be adjusted by rotating the CH1 and CH2 knob.
5 - AIR INTAKE VENTS
Do not obstruct the air input and exit of the amplifier cooling. Any impediment to the free movement of air in the amplifier may cause a failure not covered by the warranty.
6 - LCD SCREEN
The LCD screen displays currents and important amplifier information (Gain, Temperature, Mode…).

7 - BREAKER
Circuit breaker automatically trips at the onset of an overload. It acts directly on the power of the amplifier. Before reset, unplug the unit and check that the connections are correct and that load impedances are adapted to the operating mode. Contact your dealer or a Service Center authorized in case of persistence of the outbreak.
8 - AC INPUT
Plug in the mains cable. Before any connections make sure that the power cable is not damaged. The connection to the mains supply must have an earth connection. The mains voltage supplied must conform with the electrical characteristics of the appliance.
9 - OUTPUTS
Touch proof binding post.
10 - OUTPUTS
SPEAKON connectors.
11 - INPUTS
Balanced Combo XLR and 6.35 mm Jack.
12 - INPUTS
Unbalanced RCA.
13 - SELECTEUR DE MODE
The CLIMAX amplifiers can operate following 3 modes:
• STEREO: channel 1 and 2 are independent. This position must be used with a 4 Ohms impedance load minimum. See description below.
• PARALLEL: channel 1 input signal is directed to two channels 1 and 2. This position must be used with a 4 Ohms impedance load minimum. See description below.
• BRIDGED: only channel 1 is operated. This position must be used with a 8 Ohms impedance load minimum. See description below.
14 - LINK OUT
These ports are used for linking out to another amplifier.
15 - FAN
2 speed fan draws fresh air into the amplifier; do not obstruct.

Operating Modes
1 - STEREO
Turn off the device. Use either Speakon connectors or terminals and perform wiring as shown below. The minimum load impedance must be 4 Ohms per channel.
2 - PARALLEL
Turn off the device. Parallel mode delivers input source of Channel 1 into Channel 2 amplifier. Mode switch must be set at Parallel mode. Connect the speakers to each channel output using Speakon or binding post terminals. The minimum load impedance must be 4 Ohms per channel.

3 - BRIDGED
Impedance must be equal or higher to 8 Ohms. A mono input signal is connected to channel 1 (volume of channel 2 must be set at zero). Turn off the amplifier first then carry out the wiring as shown below. The speaker is connected to the positive output terminals (red binding post) or to 1+ and 2+ of the Speakon connector.
