Volume Controls
The SR selectors incorporate no amplifier protection of their own, so they must be used with OptiMatch volume controls for each speaker pair. OptiMatch volume controls provide protection that does not waste power. All of the total power of your stereo is delivered globally to your multiroom speaker system. In a combined SR and OptiMatch system you are able to play any or all of your speakers at the same time. Regardless of the number of rooms playing, OptiMatch volume controls simply distribute all of your amplifier's power to your system.

TECHNICAL DETAILS
Easy, Elegant Operation
Enclosed in its sleek black enclosure with the instant on/off controls for each of your rooms, the SR series of selectors easily tames a complex multiroom system. Included with the SR series of selectors are over 50 preprinted, self-adhesive room labels, to make your selector easy to use.
The SR series of speaker selectors includes the SR-4, the SR-8 and the SR-12,
accommodating four, eight and twelve pairs of speakers respectively. The
controls of the SR selectors allow you to play any combination of speakers
No Service Call Buttons
The SR series does not have "protection" buttons that children or inexperienced users could accidentally press. Accidental deactivation of amplifier protection can devastate your equipment, requiring expensive service calls and repairs. Audioplex SR series selectors combined with OptiMatch volume controls to provide intrinsic protection constantly. No one can damage your system accidentally.
Designed For Performance
The SR series is designed and engineered to have a ruler-flat frequency response and ultra low distortion. Audiplex delivers 20 to 20,000 Hz plus or minus 0.5 dB.
Global Power Distribution
The combination of SR series selectors and OptiMatch volume controls deliver

of your amplifier's power globally. This means that when the entire system is active, the power of your amplifier is perfectly distributed to each speaker. Of course, the system directs exactly the
same amount of power to each speaker pair, regardless of how many speakers are playing, so there are never any variations in volume when rooms are turned on and off.
