ThankyouforpurchasingtheAudioNoteTT-1turntable.Afewminutes
readingtheseinstructionswillensuremaximumenjoymentandeaseof
use.
1.Carefullyunpackallpartsandremovepolythenebagsetc.
2.Placeturntableonalevelflatsurfacefreefromvibration.Awall
mountedshelforpreferablyanequipmentstandwouldbeidealforthis
purpose.
3.Removetransitscrewstoreleasethesprungsub-chassis.Removethe
armboardfasteningboltswiththe3mmallenkeyprovided.Thiswillallow
easyinstallationofthechosentonearmandcartridge.Installthetonearm
parallelwiththeedgeofthearmboard(althoughonlyanaesthetic
requirement)andinstrictaccordancewiththemanufacturer’s
instructions.Refitthearmboardandtonearmtotheturntableand
replacefasteningboltswithoutfullytighteningthem.Atthisstagethe
drivebeltshouldbefittedaroundthesmalldrivepulleyandacrylicdrive
hub,finallyplacingtheplatterontothetopofthehub.Noticethetwo
groovesinthedrivepulley.Thetopgrooveisfor33rpmandthebottom
for45rpmplayback.
4.Withthetonearmandplatterinplacethesprungsub-chassiscanbe
properlylevelled.Makingsurethattheturntableplynthislevel,adjustthe
threechassisadjustmentscrewswiththe4mmallenkeyprovided.The
bottomedgeoftheplattershouldbe5mmabovetheplynth.Turnthe
screwsclockwisetoraisethesuspensionandanti-clockwisetolowerit.
Atthisstageaffixthetonearmcableintothewhiteclipatthebackfothe
plynth,makingsurethesuspensioncanmovefreelyupanddown,then
tightenthearmboardbolts.Thefinaltonearmandcartridgealignment
adjustmentscannowbemade.
5.Sometonearmshaveaseparateearthleadwhichcanbeattachedto
theearthingpost.Othertonearmsdonotrequirethis.
6.Donotremovethedrivehubfromthebearingassemblyasaquantity
ofoilandballbearinghavebeenfittedfromthefactory.Asmallsyringeof
oilhasbeensuppliedincaseoflossorspillage,ofwhichonly2-3drops
arerequired.
7.Theattractivegreypaintfinishisextremelyhardwearingandstable.
Tokeepupitsvisualappealitshouldbedustedcarefullywithaclean,
softpaintbrushasrequired.Formorestubbornmarksorstains,a
degreasingfluidapprovedforpaintedsurfacesonaspongecanbe
used.
