1 Allgemeine Hinweise
Bitte lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch. Bei eventuell auftretenden Fragen,
wenden Sie sich bitte an unseren Service unter der Service-Hotline 0180 5 00 13 88 (Kosten
Telekom bei Drucklegung: 12 ct/min). Öffnen Sie das Gerät in keinem Fall selbst und führen Sie
keine eigenen Reparaturversuche durch. Bei Gewährleistungsansprüchen wenden Sie sich bitte
an Ihren Fachhändler.
Im Zuge von Projektverbesserungen behalten wir uns technische und optische Veränderungen
am Artikel vor.
1.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Ihr Bluetootht-Car Kit BT 201 ist nur für den Anschluss an den Zigarettenanzünder eines Kfz
mit 12-Volt-Bordelektronik entwickelt worden. Das Car Kit funktioniert ausschließlich mit
Bluetootht-Mobiltelefonen. Während des Betriebes kommuniziert es mit dem
Bluetootht-Mobiltelefon per Funk in einem speziellen Frequenzband, das weltweit freigegeben
ist. Dadurch wird eine globale Kompatibilität erreicht. Die Kommunikation ist in einem Bereich bis
zu 10 Metern möglich.
1.2 Elektromagnetische Störungen
Die meisten modernen elektronischen Geräte sind vor Funkfrequenzenergie abgeschirmt. Dies
gilt jedoch nicht für alle Geräte. Beachten Sie deshalb Folgendes:
Verwenden Sie das Bluetootht-Car Kit nicht in der Nähe medizinischer Geräte, ohne vorher um
Erlaubnis zu fragen. Verwenden Sie medizinische Geräte wie Herzschrittmacher oder Hörhilfen,
beachten Sie die entsprechenden Informationen in der Bedienungsanleitung des Mobiltelefons.

1.3 Explosionsgefährdete Gebiete und Sprenggebiete
Schalten Sie Ihre elektronischen Geräte aus, wenn Sie sich in einem explosionsgefährdeten
Gebiet befinden. Obwohl es nur selten vorkommt, kann ein elektronisches Gerät Funken
erzeugen. Funken können in einem solchen Bereich eine Explosion oder ein Feuer verursachen
und zu Verletzungen oder sogar Todesfällen führen. Wenn Sie sich in einem Sprenggebiet oder
einem mit dem Hinweis 2-Wege-Funk ausschalten ausgewiesenen Gebiet befinden, schalten
Sie Ihr Gerät ebenfalls aus, um keine Sprengungen zu beeinträchtigen.
1.4 Auto fahren
Beachten Sie die jeweiligen Gesetze und Regelungen zum Gebrauch von Mobiltelefonen und
Freisprecheinrichtungen im Straßenverkehr. Konzentrieren Sie sich immer auf das Fahren.
Verlassen Sie die Straße und stellen Sie das Kraftfahrzeug ab, wenn die Straßenbedingungen
es erfordern. Funkfrequenzenergie kann sich auf elektronische Systeme wie Radioanlagen,
Sicherheitsausrüstungen usw. in motorbetriebenen Fahrzeugen auswirken. Fragen Sie
gegebenenfalls beim Hersteller des Kraftfahrzeugs nach, um sicherzustellen, dass die
elektronischen Systeme des Fahrzeugs nicht durch ein Mobiltelefon oder Ihr Bluetootht-Car Kit
beeinträchtigt werden. Unter k einen Umständen darf der Fahrer durch das Anbringen der
Komponenten beim Führen des Kraftfahrzeugs beeinträchtigt werden. Vielmehr muss die
Position so gewählt werden, dass die Komponenten leicht einzusehen und gut bedienbar sind.

1.5 Reinigung und Pflege
Ihr Bluetootht-Car Kit ist für den Betrieb in einem Kraftfahrzeug ausgelegt. Halten Sie das Car
Kit trocken. Setzen Sie Ihr Gerät nicht extrem niedrigen oder hohen Temperaturen aus. Sie
dürfen Ihr Gerät nicht fallen lassen oder werfen, da unachtsame Behandlung zur Beschädigung
des Gerätes führen kann. Versuchen Sie nicht, Ihr Car Kit zu zerlegen. Es enthält keine vom
Kunden zu reparierenden oder auszutauschenden Komponenten. Die Gehäuseoberflächen
können mit einem trockenen, weichen und fusselfreien Tuch gereinigt werden. Niemals
Reinigungsmittel oder gar aggressive Lösungsmittel verwenden. Außer einer gelegentlichen
Gehäusereinigung ist keine weitere Pflege erforderlich.
1.6 Kompatibilität
In umfangreichen Tests wurde die Einhaltung der Bluetootht-Standards und die Kombatibilität
mit verschiedenen Bluetootht-Mobiltelefonen festgestellt. Wenden Sie sich daher bei
Problemen mit Ihrem Bluetootht-Mobiltelefon an den Hersteller Ihres Mobiltelefons.

Die Bluetootht-Technologie ermöglicht Ihnen den Einstieg in eine neue Dimension der
Verbindung von Geräten. Bluetootht-Geräte kommunizieren kabellos per Funk und verwenden

4 Inbetriebnahme
4.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Achtung: Lesen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme unbedingt die allgemeinen Hinweise am
Anfang dieser Anleitung.
4.2 Verpackungsinhalt prüfen
Zum Lieferumfang gehören das Audioline Car Kit BT 201, bestehend aus Basiseinheit und
LCD-Display mit Anschluss-Schnur, 4 Kabelklemmen und diese Bedienungsanleitung.
4.3 Car Kit in Fahrzeug einbauen
1. Stecken Sie den Stecker des Anschlusskabels des LCD -Displays
in die Anschlussbuchse (1). Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Stecker
mit einem Klick einrastet.
2. Stecken Sie die Basiseinheit in den Zigarettenanzünder Ihres
Fahrzeugs. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Mikrofon (2) in Richtung
Ihres Kopfes ausgerichtet ist.
Hinweis: Das Mikrofon in der Basiseinheit ist deaktiviert, wenn das
Anschlusskabel der LCD-Display-Einheit eingesteckt ist. In diesem Fall
ist das Mikrofon in der LCD-Display-Einheit aktiv.

3. Drücken Sie die J ustier- und Spanneinrichtung (1) in den
Zigarettenanzünder, um die Basiseinheit festzusetzen.
4. Ziehen Sie die Schutzfolie am Fuß des LCD-Displays ab. Kleben
Sie das LCD-Display an einer geeigneten Position auf. Stellen Sie
sicher, dass das Mikrofon in Richtung Ihres Kopfes ausgerichtet
ist.
Hinweis: An den Füßen des LCD-Displays sind Klettverschlüsse
angebracht. So können Sie das LCD-Display bei Bedarf jederzeit leicht
abnehmen und wieder montieren.
4.4 Pairing mit einem Bluetootht-Telefon
Bevor Sie Ihr Car Kit nutzen können, müssen Sie ein Pairing mit Ihrem Mobiltelefon ausführen.
Weitere Informationen hierzu finden Sie auch in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Mobiltelefons.
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Batterien des Telefons geladen sind.
Schalten Sie das Telefon ein.
2. Halten Sie die Multifunktionstaste (1) der Basiseinheit gedrückt,
bis Sie ein Signal hören. Die Basisstation ist jetzt ausgeschaltet.

3. Halten Sie die Multifunktionstaste (1) der Basiseinheit gedrückt,
bis die rote und blaue Car Kit-LED (2) abwechselnd blinken. Die
Basiseinheit ist jetzt im Pairing-Modus. Im LCD -Display blinkt eine
gestrichelte Linie.
4. Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen zum Pairing für Ihr Bluetootht-Telefon. In der Regel gibt es im Setup- oder Verbindungsmenü eine
Option zum Erkennen von Bluetootht-Geräten.
5. Das Telefon sollte das Car Kit BTLCD erkennen. Bestätigen Sie das Pairing.
6. Auf Ihrem Telefon sollte die Eingabeaufforderung für Kennschlüssel (PIN) angezeigt
werden. Der Kennschlüssel (PIN) ist 0000 und nicht änderbar.
7. Falls das Pairing erfolgreich durchgeführt wurde, blinkt die blaue Car Kit-LED. Im Display
erscheint nach kurzer Zeit
8. Sollte das Pairing nicht erfolgreich sein, schalten Sie Car Kit und Telefon aus und
wiederholen Sie den Vorgang.
9. Wenn nicht innerhalb von 2 Minuten ein erfolgreiches Pairing ausgeführt wurde, wechselt
das Car Kit in den Standby-Modus (die rote LED hört auf zu blinken, die blaue LED blinkt
weiter).

5 Bedienung
5.1 Lautsprecherlautstärke ändern
Während eines Gespräches können Sie die Lautstärke des Lautsprechers in 5 Stufen ändern.
Je nach Einstellung ändert sich im LCD-Display das Lautstärkesymbol
Symbol zeigt, je größer ist die eingestellte Lautstärke. Entsprechend bedeuten weniger Striche
eine geringere Lautstärke.
1. Zum Vergrößern der Lautstärke die Lauter-Taste (1) betätigen.
2. Zum Verringern der Lautstärke die Leiser-Taste (2) betätigen.
5.2 Tonruflautstärke ändern
Während ein Gespräch eingeht, können Sie die Tonruflautstärke in 5
Stufen ändern. Je nach Einstellung ändert sich im LCD -Display das
Lautstärkesymbol
die eingestellte Lautstärke. Entsprechend bedeuten weniger Striche
eine geringere Lautstärke.
1. Zum Vergrößern der Lautstärke die Lauter-Taste (1) betätigen.
2. Zum Verringern der Lautstärke die Leiser-Taste (2) betätigen.
Hinweis: Wurde das Car Kit zwischenzeitlich aus dem Zigarettenanzünder entfernt oder die
Spannungsversorgung unterbrochen, werden die Einstellungen auf den Auslieferzustand
zurückgesetzt.

5.3 Anrufe führen (Sprachwahl)
Sie können jemanden anrufen, ohne seine Rufnummer wählen zu müssen. Dazu müssen Sie
zunächst auf Ihrem Mobiltelefon ein entsprechendes Sprachkommando aufnehmen. Weitere
Informationen finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Mobiltelefons.
1. Befindet sich Ihr Car Kit im Standby-Modus (blaue LED blinkt), betätigen Sie die Multifunktionstaste.
2. Nachdem Sie ein Bestätigungssignal hören, sprechen Sie das im Mobiltelefon gespeicherte
Sprachkommando für die anzurufende Person.
3. Wenn Ihr Sprachkommando im Mobiltelefon gefunden wird, sagt Ihr Car Kit dieses
Sprachkommando an und wählt anschließend die dazugehörige Rufnummer.
4. Wenn das Gespräch zu Stande kommt, wird ein Timer gestartet
und im LCD-Display wird die Gesprächsdauer angezeigt.
5. Um das Gespräch zu beenden, betätigen Sie erneut die
Multifunktionstaste.
5.4 Anruf abweisen
Erreicht Sie ein eingehender Anruf, ertönt der Tonruf am Car Kit. Im
LCD-Display können Sie die Rufnummer des Anrufers sehen.
1. Betätigen Sie die Multifunktionstaste für ca. 2 Sekunden, bis Sie
einen Signalton hören. Der Anruf wird abgewiesen.

5.5 Anrufe entgegennehmen
Erreicht Sie ein eingehender Anruf, ertönt der Tonruf am Car Kit.
Im LCD-Display können Sie die Rufnummer des Anrufers sehen.
1. Betätigen Sie die Multifunktionstaste, um das Gespräch
entgegenzunehmen.
2. Ein Timer wird gestartet und im LCD-Display wird die Gesprächsdauer angezeigt.
3. Um das Gespräch zu beenden, betätigen Sie erneut die
Multifunktionstaste.

5.6 Wahlwiederholung
1. Befindet sich Ihr Car Kit im Standby-Modus (blaue LED blinkt),
betätigen Sie die Lauter- bzw. Leiser-Taste (1 oder 2) und halten
sie für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt.
2. Die zuletzt gewählte Rufnummer wird gewählt.
3. Wenn das Gespräch zu Stande kommt, wird ein Timer gestartet
und im LCD-Display wird die Gesprächsdauer angezeigt.
4. Um das Gespräch zu beenden, betätigen Sie erneut die
Multifunktionstaste.

5.7 Gespräch umleiten
Während eines Gespräches haben Sie die Möglichkeit, das Gespräch vom Car Kit auf Ihr
Mobiltelefon oder umgekehrt umzuleiten. Damit können Sie das Gespräch mit und ohne Car Kit
führen und Ihre Privatsphäre schützen.
5.7.1 Gespräch vom Car Kit auf das Mobiltelefon übergeben
Erreicht Sie ein eingehender Anruf, ertönt der Tonruf am Car Kit.
Im LCD-Display können Sie die Rufnummer des Anrufers sehen.
1. Betätigen Sie die Multifunktionstaste, um das Gespräch entgegenzunehmen.
2. Betätigen Sie anschließend die Multifunktionstaste für ca. 3 Sekunden, bis ein
Bestätigungssignal ertönt.
3. Das Gespräch wird auf Ihr Mobiltelefon umgeleitet. Das Car Kit kehrt in den Standby-Modus
zurück.
4. Um das Gespräch zurück an das Car Kit zu leiten, betätigen Sie kurz die
Multifunktionstaste.
Hinweis: Möglicherweise erwartet Ihr Mobiltelefon eine Bestätigung.

5.7.2 Gespräch vom Mobiltelefon auf das Car Kit übergeben
Erreicht Sie ein eingehender Anruf, ertönt der Tonruf am Mobiltelefon.
1. Betätigen Sie die Taste Ihres Mobiltelefons zum Annehmen von Anrufen, um das Gespräch
entgegenzunehmen.
2. Um das Gespräch an das Car Kit zu leiten, betätigen Sie kurz die Multifunktionstaste.
Hinweis: Möglicherweise erwartet Ihr Mobiltelefon eine Bestätigung.
3. Das Gespräch wird auf Ihr Car Kit umgeleitet. Das Mobiltelefon kehrt in den Standby-Modus
zurück.
4. Um das Gespräch zurück an das Mobiltelefon zu leiten, betätigen Sie die
Multifunktionstaste für ca. 3 Sekunden, bis ein Bestätigungssignal ertönt.
5. Das Gespräch wird auf Ihr Mobiltelefon umgeleitet. Das Car Kit kehrt in den Standby-Modus
zurück.

6 Rufnummernanzeige
Mit der Rufnummernanzeige können Sie bei eingehenden Gesprächen
erkennen, wer Sie anruft. Wenn diese Funktion zur Verfügung steht,
zeigt Ihnen das LCD-Display bereits die Rufnummer des Anrufers,
wenn das Te lefon klingelt.
Die Rufnummernübermittlung ist ein optionaler Service des Telefonnetzbetreibers. Ihr
Car Kit zeigt die Rufnummern im LCD-Display nur, wenn der Anrufer die Rufnummernübermittlung bei seinem Telefonnetzbetreiber freigeschaltet und bei seinem Anruf nicht temporär unterdrückt hat. Fragen Sie Ihren Telefonnetzbetreiber für weitere
Informationen.
6.1 Anruferliste
Die Rufnummern der letzten 5 Anrufer werden in einer Anruferliste
gespeichert.
1. Befindet sich Ihr Car Kit im Standby-Modus (blaue LED blinkt),
betätigen Sie die Lauter-Taste (1) bzw. Leiser-Taste (2), um durch
die Anruferliste zu blättern.
6.2 Anrufer zurückrufen
1. Um eine Rufnummer aus der Anruferliste auszuwählen, siehe Anruferliste.
2. Betätigen Sie die Multifunktionstaste, um den gewünschten Anrufer zurückzurufen.

8.2 Garantie
AUDIOLINE - Geräte werden nach den modernsten Produktionsverfahren hergestellt und
geprüft. Ausgesuchte Materialien und hoch entwickelte Technologien sorgen für einwandfreie
Funktion und lange Lebensdauer. Ein Garantiefall liegt nicht vor, wenn die Ursache einer
Fehlfunktion des Gerätes bei dem Telefonnetzbetreiber liegt. Die Garantiezeit beträgt 24
Monate, gerechnet vom Tage des Kaufs.
Innerhalb der Garantiezeit werden alle Mängel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehler
zurückzuführen sind, kostenlos beseitigt. Der Garantieanspruch erlischt bei Eingriffen durch den
Käufer oder durch Dritte. Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung oder Bedienung,
durch falsches Aufstellen oder Aufbewahren, durch unsachgemäßen Anschluss oder
Installation sowie durch höhere Gewalt oder sonstige äußere Einflüsse entstehen, fallen nicht
unter die Garantieleistung. Wir behalten uns vor, bei Reklamationen die defekten Teile
auszubessern oder zu ersetzen oder das Gerät auszutauschen. Ausgetauschte Teile oder
ausgetauschte Geräte gehen in unser Eigentum über. Schadenersatzansprüche sind ausgeschlossen, soweit sie nicht auf Vorsatz oder grober Fahrlässigkeit des Herstellers beruhen.
Sollte Ihr Gerät dennoch einen Defekt innerhalb der Garantiezeit aufweisen, wenden Sie sich
bitte unter Vorlage Ihrer Kaufquittung ausschließlich an das Geschäft, in dem Sie Ihr AUDIOLINE - Gerät gekauft haben. Alle Gewährleistungsansprüche nach diesen Bestimmungen sind
ausschließlich gegenüber Ihrem Fachhändler geltend zu machen. Nach Ablauf von zwei Jahren
nach Kauf und Übergabe unserer Produkte können Gewährleistungsrechte nicht mehr geltend
gemacht werden.

1 General Information
Please read this operating instruction manual thoroughly. In the case of any questions, please
contact our Service Hotline 0180 5 00 13 88 (at your own cost). Under no circumstances open
the device or complete any repair work yourself. In the case of claims under the terms of
guarantee, contact your sales outlet.
During the course of product improvement, we reserve the right to make technical and optical
modifications to the equipment.
1.1 Intended use
Your Bluetootht Car Kit BT 201 has been developed exclusively for connection to the cigarette
lighter of a vehicle with a 12 Volt electrical system. The car kit only operates with Bluetootht
mobile phones. During operation, it communicates with the Bluetootht mobile phone via a
special radio frequency band which is available worldwide. This ensures global compatibility.
Communication is possible within a range up to 10 meters.
1.2 Electromagnetic interference
Most modern electronic devices are shielded against interference by radio frequency energy.
However, this does not apply to all equipment. Therefore, observe the following:
Do not use the Bluetootht Car Kit in the vicinity of medical equipment without asking for
permission first. If you use medical equipment such as a heart pacemaker or hearing aid, refer to
the corresponding information in the mobile phone operating manual.

1.3 Potentially explosive areas and detonation areas
Switch the equipment off in potentially explosive areas. Although it seldom occurs, an electronic
device can produce sparks. Sparks can cause an explosion or fire in such areas, leading to
major or even fatal injury. Also switch the equipment off in detonation areas or areas with a
switch off 2-way communication sign to prevent influencing detonations.
1.4 Driving
Observe the applicable laws and regulations on using mobile phones and handsfree voice
communication while driving in road traffic. Always concentrate on driving. Turn off from the road
and park the vehicle when traffic conditions necessitate this. Radio frequency energy can affect
electrical systems, such as radio systems and safety equipment etc., in motor-driven vehicles. If
necessary, contact the vehicle manufacturer to ensure that the vehicle’s electronic system will
not be impaired by a mobile phone or Bluetootht Car Kit. Under no circumstances may the
installation of the components affect the driver’s ability to drive the car in any way. The
installation location must be selected so that the components are easy to see and operate.

1.5 Cleaning and upkeep
The Bluetootht car kit has been conceived for operation in a motor vehicle. Keep the car kit dry.
Do not expose the equipment to extremely low or high temperatures. Do not drop or throw the
equipment because improper handling can cause equipment damage. Do not attempt to
disassemble the car kit. It does not contain any components which the customer should repair or
replace. Clean the housing surfaces with a dry, soft, fluff-free cloth. Never use cleaning agents or
aggressive solvents. Apart from occasionally cleaning the housing, no other upkeep is
necessary.
1.6 Compatibility
Comprehensive tests have proved the equipment complies with Bluetootht standards and is
compatible with various Bluetoothtmobile phones. Therefore, in the event of problems with the
Bluetootht mobile phone, contact the mobile phone manufacturer.

4.1 Safety notes
Caution: It is essential to read the General Information at the beginning of this manual
before starting up.
4.2 Checking the package contents
The equipment supplied contains the Audioline Car Kit BT 201, comprised of the base unit and
LC display with connection cable, 4 cable clips and this operating manual.
4.3 Installing the car kit in a vehicle
1. Connect the LC display connection cable plug in the connection
socket (1). Ensure that the plug is connected with an audible
“click”.
2. Plug the base unit into the vehicle cigarette lighter. Ensure that
the microphone (2) is pointing towards your face.
Note: The microphone in the basic unit is deactivated when the LC
display connection cable is plugged in. In this case, the microphone in
the LC display unit is active.

3. Press the adjusting and tensioning device (1) in the cigarette
lighter to fix the base unit in place.
4. Remove the protective foil from the foot of the LC display. Paste
the LCD display in a suitable position to view it. Ensure that the
microphone is pointing towards your face.
Note: The footpads on the LC display are provided with Velcro strips.
This means that the LC display can be easily lifted and placed in a new
position.
4.4 Pairing a Bluetootht phone
Before the car kit can be used, the pairing process must be completed between the car kit and
mobile phone. Refer to the operating manual provided with the mobile phone for further
information on this topic.
1. Ensure that the phone batteries are charged. Switch the phone
on.
2. Press and hold the Multifunction button (1) on the base unit until
you hear an acoustic signal. The base station is switched off.

3. Press and hold the Multifunction button (1) on the base unit until
the car kit LED (2) flashes red and blue alternately. The base unit
is now in Pairing mode. A dotted line appears in the LC display.

4. Follow the instructions on pairing your Bluetootht phone.
Normally, there is an option in the Setup or Connection menu to
detect Bluetootht devices.
5. The phone should detect the BTLCD car kit. Confirm conclusion of the pairing process.
6. The phone should display a prompt requesting the identification number (PIN).
The PIN is 0000 and cannot be altered.
7. When pairing is completed successfully, the blue car kit LED flashes.
appears in the display after a short time.
8. If pairing is not completed successfully, switch the car kit and phone off and repeat the
process.
9. If there is no successful pairing within 2 minutes, the car kit switches to Standby mode (the
red LED stops flashing, the blue LED continues to flash).

5 Operation
5.1 Changing the loudspeaker volume
The volume of the loudspeaker can be changed to one of 5 levels during a call. The volume icon
¾ changes in the LC display according to the setting. The more bars in the icon, the higher the
volume. Less bars signify a lower volume.
1. Press the Volume Up key (1) to increase the volume.
2. Press the Volume Down key (2) to lower the volume.
5.2 Changing the ringing tone volume
When a call is received, the ringing tone volume can be changed to
one of 5 levels. The volume icon
according to the setting. The more bars in the icon, the higher the
volume. Less bars signify a lower volume.
1. Press the Volume Up key (1) to increase the volume.
2. Press the Volume Down key (2) to lower the volume.
Note: If the car kit has been removed from the cigarette lighter or the power supply interrupted
in the meantime, the settings are returned to their default status set on delivery.

5.3 Making a call (voice dialling)
It is possible to make a call without having to enter the call number. To do this, the corresponding
voice command must be recorded on the mobile phone. Refer to the operating manual provided
with the mobile phone for further information on this topic.
1. If the car kit is in Standby mode (blue LED flashing), press the Multifunction button.
2. After receiving a confirmation signal, speak the voice command stored in the mobile phone
for the person to be called.
3. When the voice command is found in the mobile phone, the car kit announces this voice
command and then dials the corresponding call number.
4. When the call starts, a timer is started and the duration of the call
appears in the LC display.
5. To end the call, simply press the Multifunction button again.
5.4 Rejecting a call
When a call is received, the car kit issues an acoustic signal. The
number of the caller appears in the LC display.
1. Press the Multifunction button for approx. 2 seconds until you hear
an acoustic signal. The call is rejected.

5.5 Taking a call
When a call is received, the car kit issues an acoustic signal.
The number of the caller appears in the LC display.
1. Press the Multifunction button to take the call.
2. A timer is started and the duration of the call appears in the
LC display.
3. To end the call, press the Multifunction button again.
5.6 Redialling
1. If the car kit is in Standby mode (blue LED flashing), press and
hold the Volume Up/Down key (1 or 2) for approx. 3 seconds.
2. The last number dialled is redialled.
3. When the conversation begins, a timer is started and the duration
of the call appears in the LC display.
4. To end the call, press the Multifunction button again.

5.7 Redirecting a call
During a telephone conversation, it is possible to redirect the call from the car kit to the mobile
phone or vice versa. This means calls can be made with and without the car kit, thus protecting
your privacy.
5.7.1 Transferring a call from the car kit to the mobile phone
When a call is received, the car kit issues an acoustic signal.
The number of the caller appears in the LC display.
1. Press the Multifunction button to take the call.
2. Then press the Multifunction button for approx. 3 seconds until you hear an acoustic
confirmation signal.
3. The call is transferred to the mobile phone. The car kit returns to Standby mode.
4. To transfer the call back to the car kit, press the Multifunction button briefly.
Note: The mobile phone may await confirmation.

5.7.2 Transferring a call from the mobile phone to the car kit
When a call is received, the mobile phone issues an acoustic signal.
1. Press the button on the mobile phone to take the call.
2. To transfer the call to the car kit, press the Multifunction button briefly.
Note: The mobile phone may await confirmation.
3. The call is transferred to the car kit. The mobile phone returns to Standby mode.
4. To transfer the call back to the mobile phone, press the Multifunction button for approx.
3 seconds until you hear a confirmation signal.
5. The call is redirected to the mobile phone. The car kit returns to Standby mode.

6 CLIP Function
The CLIP function enables you to view the number of a caller when a
call is received. If this function is available, the number of the caller
appears in the display when the phone rings.
The call number transmission is an optional service from the telephone network provider. The car kit only displays the call numbers in the LC display when callers have
enabled the CLIP function with their telephone network provider and have not temporarily suppressed the function for the call. Contact your telephone network provider for
further information.
6.1 Caller list
The numbers of the last 5 callers are stored in a caller list.
1. When the car kit is in Standby mode (blue LED flashing), press the
Volume Up key (1) or Volume Down key (2) to scroll through the
list.
6.2 Calling back
1. To select a number from the caller list, refer to Caller list.
2. Press the Multifunction button to call the selected number.

Should problems arise with the telephone, refer to the following information. In the case of
technical problems, contact our service hotline 0180 5 00 13 88 (at your own cost). In the case
of claims under the terms of guarantee, contact your sales outlet. There is a 2 year period of
guarantee.

8.2 Guarantee
AUDIOLINE equipment is produced and tested according to the latest production methods. The
implementation of carefully chosen materials and highly developed technologies ensure
trouble-free functioning and a long service life. There are no grounds for claims under the terms
of guarantee when the cause of an equipment malfunction lies with the telephone network
provider. The period of guarantee is 24 months from the date of purchase.
All deficiencies resulting from material or production faults which occur during the period of
guarantee will be eliminated free of charge. Rights to claims under the terms of guarantee are
annulled following intervention by the purchaser or third parties. Damage caused as a result of
improper handling or operation, incorrect positioning or storing, improper connection or
installation, Acts of God or other external influence are not covered by the terms of guarantee. In
the case of complaints, we reserve the right to repair or replace defect parts or provide a
replacement device. Replacement parts or devices become our property. Rights to compensa tion in the case of damage are excluded where there is no evidence of intent or gross
negligence by the manufacturer.
If your device shows signs of defect during the period of guarantee, please return it to the sales
outlet in which you purchased the AUDIOLINE device together with the purchase receipt. All
rights to claims under the terms of guarantee in accordance with this agreement must be
asserted exclusively with regard to your sales outlet. Two years after the purchase and transfer
of our products , claims under the terms of guarantee can no longer be asserted.
