1 Sicherheitshinweise

Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Dieses Telefon ist geeignet zum Telefonieren innerhalb eines Telefonnetzes. Jede
andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Eigenmächtige Veränderun­gen oder Umbauten sind nicht zulässig. Öffnen Sie das Gerät in keinem Fall selbst
und führen Sie keine eigenen Reparaturversuche durch.

Aufstellungsort

Vermeiden Sie Belastungen durch Rauch, Staub, Erschütterungen, Chemikalien,
Feuchtigkeit, Hitze oder direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. Verwenden Sie weder die Ba­sisstation noch das Mobilteil in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen.

Netzteil

a Achtung: Verwenden Sie nur die mitgelieferten Steckernetzteile, da andere

Netzteile die Geräte beschädigen können. Sie dürfen den Zugang zu den Stecker­netzteilen nicht durch Möbel oder andere Gegenstände versperren.

Akkus

a Achtung: Werfen Sie Akkus nicht ins Feuer. Verwenden Sie nur Akkus des

gleichen Typs! Achten Sie auf die richtige Polung!
Bei verkehrter Polung der Akkus besteht beim Aufladen Explosionsgefahr.

Stromausfall

Bei Stromausfall kann mit dem Telefon nicht telefoniert werden. Halten Sie für Not­fälle ein schnurgebundenes Telefon bereit, welches ohne externe Stromversorgung
arbeitet.

Medizinische Geräte

a Achtung: Benutzen Sie das Telefon nicht in der Nähe von medizinischen

Geräten. Eine Beeinflussung kann nicht völlig ausgeschlossen werden.

Entsorgung

Wollen Sie Ihr Gerät entsorgen, bringen Sie es zur Sammelstelle Ihres
kommunalen Entsorgungsträgers (z. B. Wertstoffhof). Nach dem Elek­tro− und Elektronikgerätegesetz sind Besitzer von Altgeräten gesetzlich
verpflichtet, alte Elektro− und Elektronikgeräte einer getrennten Ab­fallerfassung zuzufuhren. Das nebenstehende Symbol bedeutet, dass
Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall in den Hausmull werfen durfen!

Gefährdung von Gesundheit und Umwelt durch Akkus und Batte­rien! Akkus und Batterien nie öffnen, beschädigen, verschlucken oder

in die Umwelt gelangen lassen.
Sie können giftige und umweltschädliche Schwermetalle enthalten. Sie
sind gesetzlich verpflichtet, Akkus und Batterien beim batterievertrei­benden Handel sowie bei zuständigen Sammelstellen, die entspre­chende Behälter bereitstellen, sicher zu entsorgen. Die Entsorgung ist
unentgeltlich. Die nebenstehenden Symbole bedeuten, dass Sie Akkus
und Batterien auf keinen Fall in den Hausmull werfen durfen und sie
uber Sammelstellen der Entsorgung zugefuhrt werden mussen.
Verpackungsmaterialien entsorgen Sie entsprechend den lokalen
Vorschriften.

Strahlungsreduzierung

Dieses Gerät reduziert im Vergleich zu einem Standard-DECT-Schnurlostele­fon die Strahlung um bis zu 75 % im Gesprächsmodus (abhängig von der Ent­fernung des Mobilteils zur Basis).

Energieverbrauch

Die mitgelieferten Netzteile erfüllen die Ökodesign-Anforderungen der Europäi­schen Union (Richtlinie 2005/32/EG). Dies bedeutet, dass sowohl im Betrieb als
auch im Ruhezustand der Stromverbrauch im Vergleich zu Netzteilen älterer
Bauart deutlich niedriger ist.

Basisstation anschließen

a Achtung: Stellen Sie die Basisstation mit einem Mindestabstand von 1 m zu

anderen elektronischen Geräten auf, da es sonst zu gegenseitigen Störungen
kommen kann.

Schließen Sie die Basisstation wie auf der Skizze abgebildet an. Verwenden Sie aus
Sicherheitsgründen nur das mitgelieferte Steckernetzgerät sowie das beigefügte Te­lefonanschlusskabel.

Ladestation anschließen

Schließen Sie die Ladestation an eine Netzsteckdose an.

gerät ! Sie dürfen den Zugang zum Netzteil nicht durch Möbel oder andere
Gegenstände versperren.

Akkus einlegen

Öffnen Sie das Akkufach, legen Sie die Akkus in das Akkufach ein und schließen Sie
das Akkufach wieder.

a Achtung: Verwenden Sie nur NiMH-Akkus vom Typ AAA (Microzellen),

400 mAh! Niemals Batterien/Primärzellen verwenden!
Achten Sie auf die richtige Polarität!

Netzsteckdose

Akkus aufladen

☞ Stellen Sie das Mobilteil bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme für mindestens 15

Stunden in die Basis-/Ladestation.

Das Mobilteil erwärmt sich beim Laden. Dies ist normal und ungefährlich.
Laden Sie das Mobilteil nicht mit fremden Aufladegeräten. Der Akkuladezustand wird
im Display angezeigt. Wenn die Ladung der Akkus die untere Grenze erreicht hat,
blinkt das Akkusymbol ( ) im Display. Stellen Sie das Mobilteil zum Aufladen in
die Basis-/Ladestation.

Datum und Uhrzeit einstellen

Bei Inbetriebnahme verfügt das Telefon nicht über eine korrekte Uhrzeit (z. B. für
Einträge in der Anrufliste).
Einzelheiten s. Abschnitt „9 Telefon einstellen / Datum/Zeit“.

Displaysprache einstellen

Die Displaysprache ist in verschiedenen Sprachen einstellbar. Im Auslieferungszu­stand ist „Deutsch“ eingestellt. Sie können die Sprache über den Menüpunkt
„PERS.EINST / SPRACHE“ ändern.

Sie können Fehler bei der Eingabe mit der Taste korrigieren.

☞ Sie können auch zuerst die Abhebetaste drücken und erhalten damit das

Freizeichen. Die eingegebenen Ziffern Ihrer gewünschten Rufnummer werden sofort
gewählt. Eine Korrektur einzelner Ziffern der Rufnummer ist bei dieser Form des
Gesprächsaufbaus nicht möglich.

Gespräch beenden

☞ Das Mobilteil speichert die 5 zuletzt gewählten Rufnummern.

Aus der Anrufliste anrufen

☞ Die Speicherung kann nur erfolgen, wenn die Funktion „Rufnummernübertra-

gung (CLIP)“ an Ihrem Anschluss verfügbar ist und die Rufnummer vom Anrufer
nicht unterdrückt oder aus anderen Gründen nicht übertragen wurde. Das Mobilteil
speichert 10 Anrufe in der Anrufliste. Ist für die Rufnummer ein Telefonbucheintrag
angelegt, wird der Name angezeigt. Durch Drücken auf OK wird die Rufnummer
angezeigt.

Öffnen Sie die Anrufliste.

Anzeige der Gesprächsdauer

Während eines Gesprächs wird die Gesprächsdauer in Stunden, Minuten und Se­kunden angezeigt.

Hörer-/Lautsprecherlautstärke einstellen

Sie können während eines Gesprächs die Lautstärke mit den Tasten +und -bei Hörer­betrieb in 3 Stufen und bei Freisprechen in 5 Stufen einstellen.
Die Einstellungen bleiben auch nach Ende des Gespräches gespeichert.

Mikrofon ausschalten (Mute)

Sie können während eines Gesprächs das Mikrofon ausschalten, so
dass Ihr Gesprächspartner Sie nicht hören kann. Im Display wird
STUMM EIN angezeigt.

Zum Einschalten des Mikrofons drücken Sie die Taste

Intern telefonieren

☞ Interne Gespräche, Vermitteln und Konferenzgespräche sind nur möglich,

wenn mehrere Mobilteile angemeldet sind.

6 Weitere Leistungsmerkmale

Tastensperre

☞ Die Tastensperre verhindert ein unbeabsichtigtes Betätigen der Tasten.

Eintreffende Anrufe können wie gewohnt entgegengenommen werden.

Drücken und halten Sie die Stern-Taste für ca. 2 s.

Zum Entsperren der Tastatur drücken und halten Sie die Stern-Taste
erneut für ca. 2 s.

Tonruf ausschalten

Drücken und halten Sie die Raute-Taste für ca. 2 s.

Diese Einstel-

lung gilt nur für externe Anrufe.

Zum Wiedereinschalten des Tonrufs drücken und halten Sie die

Raute-Taste erneut für ca. 2 s.

☞ Sie können den Tonruf für das Mobilteil auch über das Menü „PERS.EINST /

MOBILT. TONE / RUFTONLAUTST“ ausschalten.

Mobilteil ausschalten

☞ Sie können das Mobilteil ausschalten um die Akkus zu schonen.

Drücken Sie die Auflegetaste und halten Sie sie gedrückt. Nach weni-

gen Sekunden wird das Mobilteil ausgeschaltet. Die Displaybeleuch­tung erlischt.

Zum Wiedereinschalten des Mobilteils drücken Sie die Auflegetaste

so lange, bis das Display wieder leuchtet.

8 Telefonbuch

☞ Im Telefonbuch können Sie 50 Rufnummern und zugehörige Namen speichern.

Geben Sie die Rufnummern immer mit der Ortsvorwahl ein; das ermöglicht eine
korrekte Anzeige des jeweiligen Anrufers, für den ein Eintrag angelegt ist und
dessen Übertragung der Rufnummer an Ihrem Anschluss verfügbar ist.

Neuen Eintrag anlegen

Drücken Sie die Menü-Taste.

Wählen Sie TELEF.BUCH und drücken Sie OK.

/

Wählen Sie NEUER EINTR. und drücken Sie OK.

Geben Sie den Namen ein.

Die Zifferntasten sind mit Buchstaben beschriftet. Durch mehrmaliges

Drücken der entsprechenden Taste können Buchstaben und Ziffern
eingegeben werden.

Löschen Sie Zeichen mit der Taste .

Nach kurzer Zeit springt die Einfügemarke (Cursor) weiter.

Nach Eingabe des Namens drücken Sie OK.

Geben Sie die Rufnummer ein. Ist Ihr Telefon an einer Telefonanlage

angeschlossen, geben Sie die Amtskennziffer mit ein. Ist eine Wahl­pause erforderlich, drücken Sie nach der Amtskennziffer die Taste

für ca. 3 s; im Display wird Pangezeigt.

Nach Eingabe der Rufnummer drücken Sie OK.

Telefonbucheinträge bearbeiten

Drücken Sie die Menü-Taste.

11 Anrufbeantworter

Der integrierte digitale Anrufbeantworter bietet eine Gesamtaufzeichnungszeit von
bis zu 12 Minuten für Ansagetexte und Nachrichten. Die Standard-Ansagetexte sind
in verschiedenen Sprachen einstellbar.

Der Anrufbeantworter kann sowohl von der Basis als auch vom Mobilteil bedient wer­den. Mit einem MFV-fähigen Telefon haben Sie außerdem einen PIN-geschützten
Fernzugriff auf den Anrufbeantworter (wenn „Fernabfrage“ aktiviert und die PIN nicht
„0 0 0 0“ ist).
Es stehen zwei Betriebsarten zur Auswahl:

- Ansage mit Nachrichtenaufzeichnung

- Nur Ansage.

Im Auslieferungszustand ist bereits für jede Betriebsart eine Standardansage gespei­chert. Damit ist der Anrufbeantworter sofort betriebsbereit. Bei „Ansage mit Nachrich­tenaufzeichnung“ und Erreichen der maximalen Aufnahmekapazität schaltet das
Gerät automatisch in die Betriebsart „Nur Ansage“ um.
Ist der Anrufbeantworter ausgeschaltet, wird nach ca. 10 Rufen der Ansagetext für
die Betriebsart „Nur Ansage“ abgespielt (wenn „Fernabfrage“ aktiviert und die PIN
nicht „0 0 0 0“ ist).

☞ Hinweis: Der Anrufbeantworter ist nicht erreichbar, wenn er ausgeschaltet ist

und die PIN nicht abweichend vom Auslieferungszustand ist, also „0 0 0 0“.

Im Display des Mobilteils erkennen Sie an dem Symbol , dass der Anrufbeant­worter eingeschaltet ist. Sind neue Nachrichten vorhanden blinkt dieses Symbol
langsam. Ist der Anrufbeantworter voll (keine weitere Aufzeichnung möglich), blinkt
das Symbol schnell.
An der Basis signalisiert die leuchtende Taste „Wiedergabe/Stopp“ dass der Anrufbe­antworter eingeschaltet ist. Sie blinkt bei neuen Nachrichten.
Beim Abhören der Nachrichten am Mobilteil werden jeweils Datum und Uhrzeit des
Eintreffens der Nachricht angezeigt (Einstellung: UHR & WECKER / DATUM/ZEIT).

☞ Beim Rücksetzen der Telefons in den Auslieferungszustand werden eigene

Ansagen gelöscht.

Fehlersuche

Haben Sie Probleme mit Ihrem Telefon, kontrollieren Sie zuerst die folgenden Hin­weise. Bei technischen Problemen können Sie sich an unsere Service-Hotline unter
Tel. [phone] (Kosten aus dem deutschen Festnetz bei Drucklegung: 14
ct/min; max. 42 ct/min aus den Mobilfunknetzen) wenden. Bei Garantieansprüchen
wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler. Die Garantiezeit beträgt 2 Jahre.

☞ Einige Probleme lassen sich ganz einfach lösen, indem Sie die Geräte

stromlos machen. Dazu sollten Sie fur etwa 20 Minuten die Basisstation vom
Stromnetz trennen (Netzgerät herausziehen) und die Akkus aus dem Mobilteil
nehmen. Wenn Sie dann das Netzgerät wieder anschließen und die Akkus
wieder einlegen, ist das Problem möglicherweise bereits gelöst.

1. Prüfen Sie, ob das Telefonanschlusskabel ordnungsgemäß eingesteckt ist. Wenn
ja, ist möglicherweise das Kabel defekt. Verwenden Sie unbedingt nur das mitge­lieferte Telefonanschlusskabel.

2. Prüfen Sie, ob alle Netzkabel angeschlossen und alle Geräte eingeschaltet sind

AUDIOLINE-Geräte werden nach den modernsten Produktionsverfahren hergestellt
und geprüft. Ausgesuchte Materialien und hoch entwickelte Technologien sorgen für
einwandfreie Funktion und lange Lebensdauer.
Ein Garantiefall liegt nicht vor, wenn die Ursache einer Fehlfunktion des Gerätes bei
dem Telefonnetzbetreiber oder einer eventuell zwischengeschalteten Telefonanlage
liegt. Die Garantie gilt nicht für die in den Produkten verwendeten Batterien, Akkus
oder Akkupacks. Die Garantiezeit beträgt 24 Monate, gerechnet vom Tage des
Kaufs.
Innerhalb der Garantiezeit werden alle Mängel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungs­fehler zurückzuführen sind, kostenlos beseitigt. Der Garantieanspruch erlischt bei

Please read this operating instruction manual thoroughly.

Intended use

The telephone is suitable for telephoning within a public telephone network system.
Any other use is considered unintended use. Unauthorised modification or recon­struction is not permitted. Under no circumstances open the device or complete any
repair work yourself.

Installation location

Prevent excessive exposure to smoke, dust, vibration, chemicals, moisture, heat and
direct sunlight.
Do not use the telephone in potentially explosive areas.

Power adapter plug

a Attention: Only use the power adapter plug supplied because other power

supplies could damage the telephone. Ensure access to the power adapter plug is
not obstructed by furniture or such.

Rechargeable batteries

a Attention: Never throw batteries into a fire. Only use batteries of the same type.

Pay attention to the correct polarity.
Incorrect polarity of the batteries represents a risk of explosion during charging.

Power failure

The telephone cannot be used to make calls in the event of a power failure.
Always keep a cord connected telephone which operates without an external power
supply available in case of emergency situations.

Medical equipment

a Attention: Never use the telephone in the vicinity of medical equipment.

Effects on such equipment cannot be fully ruled out.

by your local public waste authorities (e.g. recycling centre). According
to laws on the disposal of electronic and electrical devices, owners
are obliged to dispose of old electronic and electrical devices in a sepa­rate waste container.

Batteries represent a hazard to both health and the environment!

Never open, damage or swallow batteries, nor allow them to get into
the environment.
They may contain toxic and ecologically hazardous heavy metals. You

Low-radiation operation

This device reduces emissions by up to 75 % in talk mode (depending on the
distance of the handset to the base station) compared to a standard DECT
cordless telephone.

Power consumption

The power adapter plugs supplied fulfils the eco−design directive of the Euro­pean Council (Directive 2005/32/EC).
This means that power consumption is considerably lower than power adapter
plugs of an earlier design both in operating and idling modes.

☞ Before the handset is used for the first time, insert it in the base / charging

Setting the time and date

At initial operation the telephone does not have the correct time (e.g. for entries in
the call list).
For details refer to chapter “9 Setting the telephone / Date/Time“.

Setting the display language

The display language is available in several languages. The default setting is “Ger­man (DEUTSCH)”. Set the language using the menu item “PERS.EINST / SPRA­CHE“.

Setting the earpiece/loudspeaker volume

During a call you can adjust the volume with the + and - key in 3 levels if telephoning
“normally” (earpiece volume) or in 5 levels with hands-free (loudspeaker volume).
These seperate settings will remain at the last selected level when you end the call.

Muting the microphone

During a call you can switch your handset’s microphone off. The dis­play shows MUTE ON.

Internal calls

☞ Internal calls, transfers and conference calls are only possible if multiple

handsets are registered.

Making an internal call

Press the

key. If there are only two handsets registered to the
base the other device will ring at once. In case of some more regis­tered handsets you will have to enter the respective internal tele­phone number (1…X).

External call during an internal connection / Brokering / Transfer / Conference

An incoming call during an internal connection is signalled by an attention tone. On the

Key lock

☞ The key lock prevents functions assigned to buttons being activated inadver-

tently. Incoming calls can still be taken in the normal way even when the key lock
function is activated.

Switching the ringer on/off

10 Registering/de-registering handsets

Up to four handsets can be registered to a base station. The handsets delivered with
your telephone are already registered. To register a “foreign” handset please refer to
it’s user manual.

11 Answering Machine

The integrated digital answering machine offers a total recording time of up to 15 mi­nutes for outgoing and incoming messages. The standard announcement texts can
be set to different languages.

You can access the answering machine from the base station as well as from the
handset. Using a telephone with tone dialling (DTMF) you have also a PIN protected
remote access (if remote access is activated and the PIN is different from “0 0 0 0“).

You can select between two modes:

- Answer and record

- Answer only .
A standard announcement is already saved for every operating type at the delivery

stage. Therefore the answering machine is immediately operational. At “Answer and
record” and reaching of the maximum recording capacity the device will automatically
switch to the operating type “Answer only”.

If the answering machine is turned off the announcement for the operating type “Ans­wer only” will be played after approx. 10 rings (if remote access is activated and the
PIN is different from “0 0 0 0“).

☞ Note: If the answering machine is turned off and if the PIN is the default, i.e.

0 0 0 0, then the answering machine will never answer a call.
You can see from the symbol on the display of the handset that the answering

machine is turned on. If there are any new messages the symbol is flashing slowly. It
is flashing fast to indicate TAM is full (no more messages can be recorded).
On the base station the illuminated “Play/Pause“-button indicates the answering ma­chine is turned on. If new messages are available the illuminated button flashes.

When listening messages through the handset date and time of the respective mes­sage will be shown (Einstellung: CLOCK&ALARM / DATE & TIME).

☞ When resetting the device to delivery state personal outgoing messages will be

deleted.

☞ Some issues may simply be resolved by disconnecting the power to the

unit. In such instances the power to the main base station should be switched
off and batteries in the handset should also be removed for about 20 minutes.
After which reconnect everything to determine if this has resolved the issue.

I can’t make phone calls

• Make sure the phone cable is connected properly. If it is, there may be a fault.
Please make sure you’re using the phone cable that came with your phone.

• Check power’s plugged in, switched on and working.

• Make sure you aren’t too far from the base station (in ideal conditions, it should
work up to 300 metres outdoors and up to 50 metres indoors).

• Test the phone line and socket by using another phone.

I keep losing my connection

• Make sure you aren’t too far from the base station (in ideal conditions, it should
work up to 300 metres outdoors and up to 50 metres indoors).

• The base station may not be in an ideal location – consider moving it.

My handset keeps switching off

• It may need recharging. So it can charge fully, place your handset on its charger
base for at least 15 hours (make sure the power socket is switched on!).

• Replace the rechargeable batteries. Any replacement batteries should be the
same type as those provided.

Caller’s identification (Call Line ID) isn’t working

• Check you have this service on your phone line. Please call your network provider.

• The caller may have withheld their phone number.

as the result of improper handling or operation, normal wear and tear, incorrect posi­tioning or storage, improper connection or installation or Acts of God and other exter­nal influences are excluded from the terms of guarantee. In the case of complaints,
we reserve the right to repair defect parts, replace them or replace the entire device.
Replaced parts or devices become our property. Rights to compensation in the case
of damage are excluded where there is no evidence of intent or gross negligence by
the manufacturer.
If your device shows signs of defect during the period of guarantee, please return it
to the sales outlet in which you purchased the AUDIOLINE device together with the
purchase receipt. All claims under the terms of guarantee in accordance with this
agreement can only be asserted at the sales outlet.
No claims under the terms of guarantee can be asserted after a period of two years
from the date of purchase and hand-over of the product.
