The Architect Model 500 and Model 700 multi-zone amplifiers from AudioControl help save you from this call. Our engineers pulled out all of the stops when designing the Architect. It’s fully discrete output design features the Lightdrive Protection system to make certain that the show always goes on. Neither heat, nor short-circuit, nor wild teenage gathering can stop this amplifier. The Lightdrive Protection system and programmable PFM bass blocking filters also make certain that your speakers survive this aural onslaught by eliminating tweeter destroying clipping. By the way, the Architect sounds great also.

multi-zone power amplifier. The Architect™ provides Twelve powerful channels (600 watts total) of discrete audio amplification to fill any space with great sound. The Architect Model 700 adds six bands of precision equalization to each zone to ensure that every room sounds it’s best. The Architect Model 500 and Model 700 are a powerful set of tools for any multi-zone audio installation.

• Fully discrete twelve channel amplification 50 Watts per channel (all channels driven)

• Six Band, 12 channel custom-contoured room equalizer (Model 700 only)

• High-efficiency (Patent #5,708,577) design eliminates the need for noisy fans

• Input channel bussing or independent operation

• The Lightdrive protection circuitry eliminates the possibility of clipping, distortion or amplifier damage, even in heavy-use applications (like parties)

• Channel pairs bridgeable to 100 watts

• Individual channel protection against clipping, overtemperature, or DC offset prevents all channels from being shut-down if one fails.

• Exclusive, installer programmable, bass-blocking PFM filter to improve performance of in-wall and small bookshelf speakers

• Separate signal-sensing mute control for each channel pair

• Speaker wiring block for simple system pre-wiring

• Remote power control input
