Important Safety Information

Attention and Warning Symbols

You must be aware of safety when you install and operate this equipment. This owner’s
manual provides various procedures that are intended to be done in the order presented.

Failure to do the procedures in the order given or procedures that are done carelessly
could result in possible injury to you, damage to equipment and/or property. Some

procedures require special attention.

The WARNING! Symbol means that there is the potential of electric shock
which could result in serious injury or damage to the equipment or personal

property may result.

The ATTENTION! Symbol means you should pay special attention to:
Important instructions for using this equipment, or

important instructions for maintaining this equipment.

The Class II Symbol alerts qualified service personnel to use only identical
Replacement parts in this equipment.

For Your Safety

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock,
do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture

Due to the thermionic nature of vacuum tubes, this equipment
generates high levels of heat. Adequate ventilation must be provided. Do

not restrict the ventilation slots or place on any surface that may restrict
airflow.

Vacuum tubes and other nearby parts operate at extremely high
temperatures. Keep such parts out of the reach of children.

High voltages exist which may be harmful. Do not operate this equipment
with the top cover removed.

Internal fuses and other safety components are located inside this unit in
accordance with BS 60065 requirements.

Should service be required where components need to be replaced with
the exception of safety devices and vacuum tubes, all passive components

are to be replaced with identical types only.
