Student Microphone Tips
• Speak directly into the top of the microphone,
not into the side.
• Microphone can be cleaned with standard
disinfecting wipes.
Your teacher and student microphones come with one
rechargeable Ni-MH AA battery each. Charge your microphones
every night and over the weekend. In a pinch, you can use a
regular alkaline AA battery to power the microphones.
You have an intelligent battery charger. It will not overcharge the
battery, nor will it accidentally try to charge a standard alkaline
battery.

Tips & Tricks
• Use your Audio Enhancement system every day.
• Wear your microphone 4-6 inches below your chin.
• Charge your microphone nightly.
• Speak at a normal conversational volume.
• Don’t turn up the volume too high. If you can hear your voice, it’s too loud. Have another
adult in the room to help you set the volume.
The CHG indicator shows charging status:
• Charging: Solid Steady ON
• Finished Charging: OFF
• Charging Error: Flashes to indicate an alkaline battery

There are two methods of connecting a multimedia device such as a phone, tablet, MP3 player, or
computer to an Audio Enhancement system. They may be connected to an input on the back of the
amplier or to the AUDIO IN port of either the Teardrop or Handheld infrared (IR) microphone.
The Ultimate III uses both RCA audio line inputs (Line 1) and 3.5 mm audio line inputs (Lines 2 and 3).
The auxiliary input on the microphones uses a 3.5 mm input.

Connect the two RCA male connectors to the back of the
amplier. Plug the white connector into the white port of Line 1,
and the red connector into the red port of Line 1.
Connect the 3.5 mm plug to your multimedia device. There will
be a corresponding knob on the front to control the volume
through the amplier/receiver. The arrows on the microphone
can also be used to control the volume when the microphone is
set to LINE.
