Cat 5 HDMI Extender System

The EDP-11 is an all-digital extension system that transmits
HDMI signals over Cat 5 cables. Retrot-friendly Cat 5
UTP cable helps integrators minimize installation time
while extending HDMI farther than standard cabling
allows. Compatible with the newest HDMI ver. 1.3 features
like Deep Color (12 bits per channel), lossless audio, and
1080p video, the EDP-11 enables maximum performance in
an integration-friendly package. Maximum distances from
115 to 195 ft are possible, depending on the cable used, and
the resolution and refresh rate of the source output. Premium
cables ensure maximum performance and reliability.

MODEL EDP-11 FEATURES:

• Maximum resolutions: 1080p @ 60Hz, 1920x1200

• Supports 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p and multiple PC resolutions

• Requires two Cat 5e or Cat 6 UTP cables (Cat 6 is recommended)

• Power for both wallplates supplied at transmitter location

• Maximum distance using Cat 5e cable: 115 ft (1080p) or 130 ft (1080i)

• Maximum distance using Cat 6 cable: 145 ft (1080p) or 195 ft (1080i)

• Supports up to 36 bit color depth (12 bits per TMDS channel)

• Supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD: Master Audio, and Dolby Digital Plus
