NELO706V SERIES SURFACE MOUNT SPEAKERS
STEP 1
The NELO706V series speakers are delivered assembled.
For installation, both parts (speaker part and wall part) needs to be
taken apart. This is done through releasing both screws (top and
bottom) of the speaker, and removing both parts from each other.
STEP 2
The wall part has to be assembled to the provided location on the
wall or ceiling. This is done through knocking out the provided areas
(teardrop holes) for the fasteners. Choose the fasteners depending on
the mounting surface (concrete, wooden, steel, ...) The distance between
both mounting positions is 130 mm.
Also make sure the connection cables are provided through the
designated openings (grommets) for connecting the speaker accordingly.

Connect the wires coming from the amplier to the SnapConnect™ on
the rear speaker part.
The correct power tapping is chosen by connecting the appropriate
terminals of the connector. A description of the power tap selection
is shown on the magnet sticker on the rear side of the loudspeaker.
NELO706V:
• White: 833 Ω - 70V/6W
• Red: 1667 Ω - 100V/6W - 70V/3W
• Blue: 3333 Ω - 100V/3W - 70V/1.5W
• Black: COM
Assemble both speaker and wall part again through joining both parts
together. Make sure the speaker part is in the right direction to make
sure it can easily slide into position. Once positioned, insert both screws
again to tighten both parts together.
The speaker is now ready for use.
The NELO706V includes two knobs for volume adjustment. The
protruding knob is assembled by default and allows easy adjustment
by hand. This is recommended for frequent volume changes. A second
ush knob with screwdriver notch is included and recommended
for permanent settings, or when rare and non user congurable
adjustments are required.
The included knobs can be exchanged and easily replaced by just
pulling from the shaft and assembling (by pressing) the replacement
part on this position.

IT IS MOUNTED HIGH UP. ONLY USE INDUSTRY-
ACCEPTED RIGGING TOOLS AND METHODS

IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE TO THE CARTON BOX
OR THE UNIT ITSELF, INFORM YOUR VENDOR

USE CABLES OF THE RIGHT GAUGE TO CONNECT
THE LOUDSPEAKER

USE CABLES WITH CLEAR COLOR CODING
INDICATING THE POLARITY AND MAINTAIN THE
SAME POLARITY THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE
SYSTEM.

ONLY USE THE CORRECT AMPLIFIER OUTPUT
VOLTAGE AND IMPEDANCE. EXCEEDING THESE
LIMITS COULD CAUSE FIRE OR OTHER FAILURES.

AVOID EXPLOSIONS: DO NOT USE THE SPEAKER
AROUND GASOLINE, THINNER OR OTHER
COMBUSTIBLES

AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCKS: SWITCH OFF THE
AMPLIFIER WHEN CONNECTING THE LOUDSPEAKER

DO NOT USE THE LOUDSPEAKER FOR AN EXTENDED
PERIOD OF TIME AT DISTORTED SOUND. THIS
COULD CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE.
CAUTION - SERVICING
This product contains no user serviceable parts.
Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Do
not perform any servicing (unless you are qualied
to do so.)
