Please read all safety and operating instructions carefully before installation and use, and keep these instructions handy for future reference. Take special note of all warnings listed in this user’s manual and on the Hot Joe II.
1. Attachments - Do not use attachments that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
2. Water and Moisture - The unit should not be used near water. For example: near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a wet basement.
3. Ventilation - The unit should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, it should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block ventilation openings. Also, it should not be placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet, which may
impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.
4. Objects and Liquid Entry - Care should be taken so that external objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled onto any openings or vents located on the product.
5. Power Source - The unit should be connected only to a power supply of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the unit. If you are not sure, please consult the dealer or local power company.
6. Heat - The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances (including
amplifiers) that produce heat.
7. Servicing - The user should not attempt to service the unit beyond those methods described in the user’s manual. Opening or removing covers will expose you to dangerous voltage and other hazards. Service methods not covered in the user’s manual should
be referred to qualified service personnel.

Operational Instructions
Charging the Unit
1. Charge your unit through any Micro USB Jack or wall charger.
2. The LED indicator will turn red while charging.
3. Once the battery is fully charged the red indicator will turn
off.
Note: Please charge the battery up to 4 hours before initial use.
Power ON/OFF
1. Slide the switch on the back of the speaker to the ON position.
2. Press and hold the power button until you hear a sound indicating the unit is ON and in Bluetooth pairing mode. The LED indicator will turn blue and will be blinking.
3. To power down your speaker, slide the switch on the back of the unit to the OFF position.
AUX Input
1. To Playback your music via the AUX IN port, plug a standard
stereo headphone cable (3.5mm, not included) from your
audio device to Hot Joe II and begin playback on your audio device.
2. To increase or decrease the volume, press VOL + and VOL – buttons.
Note:
- The Skip/Hands-free button does not work with external devices.
- The AUX input source will be automatically selected when the auxiliary cable is connected.
- Once the auxiliary cable is disconnected, the unit will switch back to Bluetooth mode.

Pairing Your Bluetooth Device
1. Turn the unit on. The Hot Joe II will beep and the indicator will turn blue and flash indicating the unit is in pairing
mode.
2. Navigate to the Bluetooth menu on your device and begin searching for the available devices.
3. Select PWS02 from the list of results, and your device will begin to pair. If the unit asks for a code, please enter “0000”.
4. Once connected, the speaker will beep and the blue
indicator will stop flashing.
Music Playback Functions
- Press the Power button to Play and Pause the music.
- Press the Skip Buttons to skip to Next or Previous Song.
- Press the Vol+ or Vol - buttons to increase or decrease the volume.
- Press and hold the Power button to turn the unit to Standby mode.

Hands-free Speakerphone
Placing a Call
- To place a call, initiate the call from your Bluetooth connected phone and the call will automatically be routed through your paired Hot Joe II and the music will be stopped.
- When the call is terminated, the current music will be resumed. The call can also be terminated by pressing the hands-free button.
Receiving a Call
- Press the Hands-free button to answer the call on your speaker.
- Press and hold the Hands-free button to reject the call.
- To disconnect, press the Hands-free button again.

Troubleshooting
Symptom Solution
No power - Recharge the battery.
- Move the power switch to the ON position.
No sound - Raise the volume by pressing
the VOL + button.
- Make sure your device is connected to the speaker and playing music.
- Raise the volume level of the connected device.
- Set input source as AUX IN or Bluetooth mode.
Hands-free not working - Set to Bluetooth mode (Hands-
free function is only available in
Bluetooth mode)

Limited Warranty
The AT&T brands are used under license. Any repair, replacement, or warranty service, and all questions about this product should be directed to
Concept 101 LLC at www.att.com/electronics or call 1 (888) 920-8680 from
the USA or Canada.
Concept 101 LLC warrants to the original purchaser that the product will be free from defects in material, parts and workmanship for the period designated for this product. The warranty commences the day the product is purchased and covers up to a period of one (1) year. Concept 101 LLC agrees that it will, at its option, replace the defective product with either a new or remanufactured headset equivalent to your original purchase during the warranty period. Should the Parts warranty period exceed the Labor warranty period, Concept 101 LLC will supply at no charge for the remainder of the Parts warranty, any new or remanufactured replacement parts as required by the product. During this period all labor and service charges will become the responsibility of the customer.
Exclusions: This warranty does not apply to the appearance or exterior of the product
which may have been damaged or defaced, altered or modied in design or
construction. This warranty does not apply if the serial number is altered or removed, or if there is any damage due to power line surge, user damage to the AC power cord, connection to improper voltage source, general misuse, accidents, or repair attempts by unauthorized service agents. Other exclusions include ear pads, rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CUSTOMER; Concept 101 LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
