Instruction Manual
Important Safety Instructions
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE
WARNING:
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY:
1. Do not leave appliance plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and
before servicing.
2. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces, any wet material or in a wet
environment.
3. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or
near children.
4. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended
attachments.
5. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should,
has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped in water, return to a
service center.
6. Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord, or pull
cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord
away from heated surfaces.
7. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
8. Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
9. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep
free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
10. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from openings
and moving parts.
11. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches
or hot ashes.
12. Do not use without vacuum filters in place.
13. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
14. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
15. Do not use to pick up any liquids, flammable or combustible, such as gasoline,
or use in areas where they may be present.
16. Connect to a properly grounded outlet only.
17. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS:
This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down,
grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk
of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipmentgrounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an
appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all
local codes and ordinances.
WARNING:
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in electric
shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to
whether the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug. No adapter
should be used with the plug. The Omega is for use on a nominal 120-volt
50/60Hz. Circuit. 230V Optional.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
The vacuum is packed with the canister filter. When it is time to change the filter,
follow these simple instructions:
1. Unplug the vacuum from the power source. Release front latches and open
lid.
2. Lift filter out by placing fingertips under lifting tabs located on both ends of
filter.
3. Push small orange filter plug into hose inlet to avoid any spills.
4. Dispose of the filter cartridge in an appropriate manner compliant with all
local, state, and federal laws.
5. Insert new filter cartridge. Close lid and latch securely PRIOR TO USE.
6. These vacuums have a factory installed resettable Thermal Cutout (TCO) for
added operator and motor safety. If the unit gets too hot, the vacuum will
shut down for approx. 20 minutes. Turn the on/off switch to the off position,
and turn back on in approximately 20 minutes. Your hose may be clogged, or
it may be time to install a new filter.
Your Omega GREEN Supreme MRI Vacuum is covered by a 36 month limited

As with ANY product used in an MRI environment, extreme care and caution
must be used. The Atrix Omega Green Supreme MRI Vacuum does have some
metal in the vacuum and power cord, but NO metal in the hose and hose
attachments. Keep the vacuum as far away from the MRI machine as possible.
This vacuum has included a 15’ non-metallic hose as standard equipment for this
very reason. A 20’ optional non-metallic hose is also available. When possible,
keep the vacuum outside of the MRI room. When possible, have another technician
hold the vacuum for the operator during use.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
Warranty/Service Information: For warranty service information, please contact
your local distributor.
Omega Green Supreme MRI Vacuum Limited Warranty: To the original user
purchasing these stated models, Atrix warrants that the vacuums will be free of
defects in material and manufacture for a period of three (3) years from the date of
purchase. Should any failure to conform to this warranty appear within this period,
Atrix will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product. When using the
standard Atrix filter for removing toner, developer, dirt, dust and other NONhazardous waste, the vacuum can be serviced. It is the user’s responsibility to
return the product, freight prepaid, to Atrix International. When using the Atrix
HEPA or ULPA filter for removing lead or other hazardous waste, the vacuum
CANNOT be serviced. Field replacement parts will be made available to the user for
the duration of the warranty period. These remedies are the user’s exclusive
remedies for breach of this warranty.
Exclusions to warranty coverage: The above warranty will not apply to any
special configurations or to any units that have been modified, or damaged by
negligence, misuse, accident or failure to follow Atrix’s Instruction Manual.
Consumable supplies, such as filters, accessories, and motor brushes are not
covered by this warranty.

AGAINST PATENT INFRINGEMENT, ATRIX MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES WITH
RESPECT TO THE ATRIX OMEGA PLUS AND OMEGA SUPREME PLUS SERIES VACUUM
CLEANER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Limitation of Liability: ATRIX WILL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
FOR ANY COINCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR
ECONOMICAL LOSS, BASED UPON BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT,
NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY IN TORT OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF
ATRIX HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES INCLUDING,
BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, EQUIPMENT USE, DATA OR
INFORMATION OF ANY KIND. THE LIABILITY OF ATRIX SHALL NOT UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCE, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, EXCEED THE PRICE
OF THE ATRIX OMEGA GREEN SUPREME MRI VACUUM.
