Digital Pocket Scale
WEIGHING
Before weighing
Whene ver poss ible, please allow the scale to warm up for 30 seconds
after first turning the power on so t hat th e scale will function
pr operly and a ccurate ly.
Error messages
EEEE: Overload
: Low battery
Calibration may be required before weighing .
Rea d "CALIBRATION" firs t and if necessary, calibrate your scale
for accurate weighi ng.
Weighing procedures
1. Press [ ] to turn on the scale.
When power is turned on, all display segments appear on LCD for a
few se conds a nd fi na lly "0" wi ll appear on the display.
2. Select the weighing unit with [UNIT].
Press [UNIT] to sel ect a wei ghing unit, eg. "g"、"ct"、 "oz"、"dwt"or
"g"、 " oz"、 " ozt"、 "dwt" .
Once the unit has been selected, the s electe d unit wil l be displayed
to t he wei ght value.
3. Start weighing
If you do not use a container for weighing,
Verify the reading is "0". If not, press [ZERO] to dis pla y "0".
Plac e obj ects on the weighing platfor m to weigh,
the wei ghi ng val ue is displa yed.
If you use a container for weighing,
Plac e an empt y container on the platfor m,
press [ZERO] to displa y "0".
Plac e t he obj ects to be weighed in the conta iner,
the wei ghi ng val ue is displa yed.
CALIBRATION
When to calibrate
Ca libra tion may be required when it is initially installed, if the mini
scale is moved to a substa ntial dista nce.
This is necessary because the weight of a mass in one location is not
necessarily the same in another location. Also, with ti me and use,
mechanical deviati ons ma y occur.
How to calibrate
1. Be fore entering calibration mode, press [ ] to t ur n t he power
on for 1 minute s.
2. Enter calibration mode
Press [ ] to turn the power off. Press [ZERO] first, then Press
[ ], while keeping pressing [ZERO], the display will s how the
A/D val ue.
3. Calibration by t he weight
Wait for 3 seconds, Press [ ] the display will show "2Ero", after
2 seconds, the dis pla y will s how calibration we ight value .
4. Plac e the calibration weight on platform. Wait for 3 seconds,
press [ ], the display will s how "CAL", after 2 seconds, t he
dis pla y will show “PASS” , then return to the weight value, now
calibra tion i s finis hed.
5. Press [ ], turn off the power, press [ ] to turn on the
power a gai n, pla ce the weight on the platform to ma ke sure whether
wei ghi ng is c orrect, if not, repeat steps 2-4.
