High Performance In A Very
Compact Footprint
The SM12CXT-B and SM8CXT-B (12" & 8" compression
driver coaxial cabinets) feature the high efficiency and
pattern control of the Atlas Sound 8CXT60, and 12CXT60
compression driver coaxial loudspeakers in a new, highly
versatile enclosure system designed to fit a wide variety of
applications including:
• School auditoriums, gymnasiums & cafetoriums
• Church sanctuary systems (F.O.H and/or monitors)
• High level foreground music systems
• General live sound reinforcement (installed or portable)
Common Features
• Multiple 1⁄4"-20 inserts, providing fly points for a variety of
mounting configurations
• Includes internal, high efficiency 60 Watt 70.7/100V transformer (may be bypassed for 8 ohm operation)
• Barrier strip input for 70.7/100V/8 ohm or parallel 4 pole
Speak-On™ input for 8 ohm operation only
• Unique input panel allows use of standard 4" square box
cover
(Raco 753 or eq.) for applications where flex conduit is
required for termination
• Fuse protection for low and high frequency drivers
• Attractive, yet heavy-duty grille assembly
• Durable black, rough-coat finish

High Performance Bass In A
Very Compact Footprint
The SM8SUB70-B 8" subwoofer system is perfect for
restaurants, bars, and high-fashion retail outlets. It’s
12dB/octave two-pole passive crossover network is
coupled to a long-excursion 8" woofer housed in a 915
cubic inch multi-angle wood enclosure system, providing
extended low frequency response with a wide variety of
mounting options.
The passive crossover network eliminates the need for a
separate crossover or dedicated amplification to power the
speaker. Its low crossover point (125Hz) nearly eliminates
localization, allowing a designer to boundary-load the
SM8SUB70-B near a wall or into a corner for maximum
output, while maintaining even coverage throughout the
space. A pre mi um 70 .7 V t ransformer allows the
SM8SUB70-B to be paralleled with any 70.7V commercial
audio system to provide extended low frequency response
and more overall audio impact for foreground music
systems. (Unit is also 8 ohm compatible)
