General Description

Model FA136 (U.S. Patent #5206464) is a high-fidelity, coaxial, 6" loudspeaker that delivers 50 Watts with full frequency response and wide dispersion. UL listed assemblies are manufactured with high-quality materials including a Kevlar®, fiber-reinforced, polypro pylene woofer, and a Norsorex syn thet ic rubber surround for high-definition bass, structural integrity, effective damp ing and weather-resistance. Each unit includes a post-mounted dome tweeter with a mylar di a phragm and ferrofluid-cooled voice coil for smooth response and excellent power handling capability.

Model FA136 has been en gi neered as a system with a high performance matched enclosure, choice of transformers and attractive grilles. Strategy Series high performance enclosure Model FA97-6 is a deep backbox with a volume of (.17 ft enclosure front-loads the loudspeaker, is offered with and without knockouts (NK) and installs quickly and easily into the ceiling using only a screwdriver to adjust the rotating clamps, or to tighten conventional screws. For limited depth installations, mounting ring Model FAPR-6 and low profile enclosure model FA95-6 are offered. Applications

Specify and install Strategy Series 6" loudspeakers to deliver full-range performance similar to an 8" unit. Model FA136 is particularly suited to high-fidelity installations where music and intelligible speech are relied upon to establish mood or disseminate information. Typical installations include hotels, casinos, res tau rants, bou tiques, health clubs, lob bies, con ven tion centers, professional offices, meeting, and board rooms.

Loudspeaker system shall be Atlas Sound Strategy Series™. System shall shall be UL listed and include a high-performance, 6" coaxial loudspeaker Model FA136, acoustically matched en clo sure Model ______ (FA97-6, FA97-6NK) and flush grille Model ______ (FA51-6, FA170-6, FA720-6, FA730-6). Strategy Series loudspeaker, enclosures and grilles shall be listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL 1480 General Signaling) to U.S. and Canadian safety standards. Nominal frequency re sponse of the sys tem shall be 80Hz - 20kHz and the sensitivity shall be 91dB (peak) and 88dB (average) measured at 1W/1M across the full bandwidth. Power rating shall be 35 watts RMS. Unit shall be comprised of a 6" diameter low frequency driver con struct ed of fiber-reinforced polypropylene and synthetic rub ber surround. High-frequency driver shall be a post-mounted ferrofluid device with mylar diaphragm. Magnet shall be a minimum of 14 oz. (398g) and the voice coil diameter shall be 1" (25mm). Dispersion shall be 130°. Transformer equipped models shall in clude factory wired ______ (70.7V or 100V) volt trans form er with prima ry taps of _______ (.5, 1, 2, 4 or 1, 2, 4, 8). Loudspeaker shall frontload specified FA97-6(NK) or optional FA175-6 enclosure or Model FAPR6 plaster ring or quick-fit frame/grille Model FA-6G. Enclosures shall use _____ (toggle clamps, con ven tion al screws) for ceiling in stallation and stud re ceiv ers for grille mount ing.
