Applications
DR Series double re-entrant horns have proven their capability and
ruggedness in permanent and temporary applications in rec rea tional,
commercial and industrial applications for over sixty years. When
used with PD or SD Series compression drivers, they assure
intelligible audio trans mis sion over long dis tances or through high
back ground noise levels and are con sis tently rec om mended for sport
fa cili ties, amuse ment parks, church towers, ware houses, fac to ries,
mili tary sites, trans por ta tion ter mi nals, and other en vi ron men tallydemanding lo ca tions.
Genenal Description
Atlas Sound DR Series double re-en trant horns are designed for use
with compression driver units to offer superior music and voice
com mu ni ca tions over dis tance and ambient noise. The circular
projectors are equipped with a reso nance damp ing ring for best
response through an ex tended frequency range. Weather-resistant
units will accommodate Atlas Sound PD & SD Series compression
drivers or any driver with stan dard 13⁄8" -18 male thread cou pling.
The integral "U-type" steel mounting bracket provides maximum
directional aiming flexibility and en hanc es installation capability
when used outdoors or in industrial environments. The rugged allmetal, ex po nen tially-flared horns are finished in durable grey epoxy.
Loudspeaker stands feature tele scop ing action, positive-locking
hardware and diecast safety collar and offer vertical ex ten sion range
from 5 to 8 feet (1524 to 2438mm) height.
