Utilize Atlas Sound 96-4 or 96-4X Series recessed enclosures when
installing standard 4" (102mm) loudspeakers and corresponding
Atlas grilles.
General Description
Atlas Sound 96-4 and 96-4X Series enclosures provide a cost-effective
method for installing standard 4" (102mm) loud speak ers and round,
screw-mount baffles. These units provide good bass response and are
con struct ed of 22-gauge CRS, undercoated, and finished in galvanized.

The metal protective enclosure shall be Atlas Sound Model ____ or
approved equal. It shall be of welded CRS construction and mount Atlas
Sound baffle Model ____, or ap proved equal. Unit shall be equipped
(with or without) conduit knockouts. Enclosure interior shall be treated
with damping material and finished in galvanized.
