Utilize Atlas Sound multi-purpose square baffles for a variety of recessed
ceiling and wall-mount installations. All models feature con cealed loudspeak er mounting studs and have an attractive, clean design ideal for
most building interiors.
General Description
161-8 Series
161-8
161 Series. These attractive baffles are ideal for most office interiors—be
it recessed ceiling or recessed wall-mount installations. All models feature
concealed loudspeaker mounting studs and are available in standard
screw-mount configurations. Model 161-4 ac com mo dates stan dard 4"
(102mm) diameter loudspeakers; Model 161-8 mount 8" (203mm) diameter
loudspeakers. Construction is one-piece, 20-gauge CRS and includes square
"no leak" gasket. Finish is textured white epoxy.
Note: For proper support, torsion spring grilles should not be used with
loudspeaker assemblies exceeding 5 lbs.
Model 170-8A. Popular ceiling baffle features a die-formed frame with
shallow bevel and perforated screen. Separate loudspeaker mounting
subplate (20-gauge CRS) provides ex tend ed "no leak" bass response.
The design offers screw-mount in stal la tion with con cealed loud speaker
mount ing studs and ac com mo dates standard 8" (203mm) diameter
loudspeakers. Unit is of two-piece CRS construction (18-gauge trim,
22-gauge perforated grille) with textured white epoxy finish.
