01] Safety Information
manufacturer’s instructions. Do not install near any heat sources
such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarised or grounding type plug.
A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety.
If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and at the point where they exit from the apparatus.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.*
Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Servicing is required when the power-supply cord or plug has been damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
POWER SOURCES
Connect the apparatus to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or marked on the apparatus.
MAINS POWER CABLES
Disconnect the apparatus from the mains supply via the mains plug. The mains plug must be accessible at all times.
*Atlas recommend Eos power cables for
optimum performance with this unit. These or equivalent power cables can be
obtained from your retailer.
Warning: this appliance must be earthed.
**Maximum supply from Eos
Modular is 10A in countries
where the power supply is 230v. Internal fuse(s) are of 10A rating, this value should NOT be exceeded.
In countries where the power supply is 115v, the fitted 10A fuse(s) may be replaced with the supplied 15A fuses to increase safe current operation to 15A.
Objects and liquid entry.
Do not let objects or liquids fall into the apparatus, or expose the apparatus to dripping or splashing.
Do not place a vessel containing liquid on top of the apparatus.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
The apparatus has been designed for use in moderate and tropical climates.
Ensure adequate ventilation, do not stack.
Read and keep these instructions for your safety and protection.

There are no user serviceable parts inside the products. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

This appliance should be connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earth connection.
The external rear binding post provided is for connection of Atlas Grounding leads ONLY (see manufacturer’s web site), no other apparatus or equipment should be connected.
The external rear binding post is a secondary ground connection and should NEVER be used as a safety ground connection.
FUSE REPLACEMENT
This appliance is fitted with a fused IEC C14 socket. Should a fuse(s) need replacing and you are competent to do this proceed as follows:
If you are in doubt contact your dealer or local electrical retailer.
a) Disconnect the unit from mains power.
Remove the IEC lead from the socket. Pull out the fuse cover/carrier (indicated) from the IEC socket.
b) Remove and dispose of the blown
fuse(s).
c) Fit a new 10 amp (max 15A for 115v
territories ONLY**) approved fuse (s) into the carrier and push the carrier back into the socket.
d) On some models there may be fuses on
both Live and Neutral conductors, it is recommended that you replace both.
Always ensure the fuse cover is fitted.
If the fuse cover is missing do not use the socket. Contact your local electrical retailer to obtain a replacement fuse cover.
Fuses are for fire protection and do not protect against electric shock.
