Le antenne Adaptive-Array Smart e la tecnologia MIMO XR™ permettono inoltre sia una copertura enormemente superiore rispetto alle normali reti IEEE802.11g che un throughput decisamente più uniforme (la presenza di zone morte verrà decisa­mente ridimensionata). La tecnologia Packet-Overdrive ™ inne permette di ottenere prestazioni velocisti­che importanti rendendo l’apparato ideale anche per le applicazioni più impegnati­ve (streaming Video HD). Il dispositivo inoltre può funzionare in modalità Access Point, su sistemi Windows XP, e permette la creazione di una rete wireless a costi estremamente contenuti. Il chipset garantisce inne il pieno supporto hardware, senza nessuna degradazio­ne di performance, degli standard di sicurezza più recenti, come il Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA/WPA2) ed IEEE802.11i. La rete wireless sarà nalmente scattante ed a prova di hacker.
